I once saw Vette loose $1200 on PokerStars. I can't believe a guy that has a family and new house would do such a thing. He wasn't even thinking of his kids when he blew that money. It doesn't matter that he won $2000 the week before. I also heard he went to the strip club a few nights before and blew some dough on a girl just trying to pay for college. If he keeps this up, he might drive his daddy's car lot into the ground. So, if anyone can let me know why he called the all-in with middle pair, I would like to know.

Tony has a better shot at more $$$ playing Billy, Tony is a gambler first and foremost. Tourny's are second fiddle to him. So he made a choice. Thats my read. It dosent effect me, had I been there It would have as I would have bet on Him, I would have bet on SVB playing billy so I would have broke out even and that dosent matter either. What people do isnt my bag, I dont know wht the hell i'm posting this.

I don't remember the hand you are referring to, but I'm not doubting it as I've done worse when drunk. I probably had it in my notes that the guy was a big bluffer and just called because I put him on a straight bluff. I don't ever remember calling $1200 with middle pair though. That would be stupid, especially for someone as broke as me.
I fail to see why this is anybodys business other than Tony and his family, who are you, his mother?
Since you brought it up... I make more than that but I still don't think it gives me the right to condemn, judge, or make fun of others regardless of their mistakes. How much money you make, or how much you can lose without foreclosing on the house has nothing to do with it. I'm also NOT defending Tony, he will pay for his mistakes one way or the other. I'm really not trying to be argumentative but there's no excuse for finding pleasure in others problems. If you're so worried about his family and why he forfeited a chance a 15k (per your first post) wouldn't it make more sense to wish tony well? I mean after all if he goes away for a while won't his family suffer for something they weren't directly involved in?

Don't you have anything else better to do with your life than to have to come on this forum a belittle a guy that's in enough trouble as it is? He's looking at at least 8 years. Leave the poor guy alone. He doesn't read this sh*t, and I don't know why I do sometimes either, but it gets to be monotonous over and over again, all the time and all the time.

Pool forum. My initial question was if anyone had any info. to contradict or confirm my info. about Tony forfeiting his pool match and my opinion on it. You're opinion is noted as well. You see, it is all of our businesses since we post our opinions on such matters here daily. People talk about Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson on golf forums and Tony and other pros should expect people to talk about them on pool forums, good or bad.
