Tony Chohan snores.

I deployed once and bunked next to this mother f*cker who had sleep apnea. I was so used to sleeping next to my quiet, beautiful wife every night I was already pissed about being in a cot, and nothing warm to snuggle up to.

So we're dozing out and here this guy goes. He sounded like a freight train. I was so mad, and kept getting out of bed and nudging him. Yelling at him. Other guys in the barrack thought it was hilarious (guess they were used to sleeping next to snoring dudes?? Don't know). I was really mad and tired the next day.

For the rest of the deployment I smartened up. Grabbed a new pair of ear plugs each night (the good kind) and slept beautifully (you just have to get used to ear plugs being in which is strange at first). Plus if anyone on the other side of the barracks had night duty I would go jump in their cot to get away from this terror. I've never heard anyone snore like this dude could. It was ridiculous.

We went fishing and these two guys from work stayed in the same room with separate twin beds. The next morning the one guy says "sorry for the snoring dude" and the other guy says "man you were not snoring you were dieing"

This is kind of goofy but was real funny to me at the time. I was rooming with a guy at a tourn once and after the 3rd night I couldn't take it no more. Snoring drives me crazy and I had a match in the morning and couldn't get to sleep because of the noise. So he's fast asleep and I start yelling his name to wake him up. We're on the second floor at the Grand Casino. He wakes up still half asleep and I say "There's someone at the window for you" wishing he would just throw himself out of it and the man gets out of bed and walks over to the window.. It didn't do much good as he was back in bed snoring within 20 seconds but it was funny to me at the time. lol. He didn't remember any of it the following morning. Guess it's one of those things where you had to be there. It's still a little funny to me. :p

Does he have sleep apnea?
I would bet on that! I had the same problem before I found out I had sleep apnea. Best thing I ever did was find out that I had it cause it has changed my life and feel rested all the time.

Yeah, Edwin is just a slouch player...only one of the best poolplayers in Canada! LOL It surely couldn't have been that he might actually PLAY better than you, could it? I thought you claimed that you're no top player? Edwin is a threat in any tournament he enters.

Omg

Tony And Few Buddys Went Down To The Swanee The Last Year It Was In S.d. We All Shared A Room We Were Drinking So Maybe We Can Blame A Little Bit Of The Snoring On That But Man The Blinds Were Moving He Was Snoring So Loud. About 4 Am I Decided To Call Out To My Brother Who Was On The Other Bed And Ask Him If He Was Awake Sure Enough He Was And Told Me He Hadent Got A Wink Of Sleep. The Next Morning He Was The Only One That Was Fresh And Ready For The Day. Yes That Was The Last Time We Shared A Room Lol

It's funny when you can hear someone snoring from outside the room. My former house mate was probably a strong shortstop in snoring. I roomed with him recently and he had one of these things:

Problem solved. :D

World class snorers

I won't mention any pool player's names but I went to Reno with a couple friends. Fortunately, I didn't room with them but when I went to get them the next morning I could hear the snoring from outside in the hallway. The other poor guy was sleeping in the bathroom with the door closed. He scared the hell out of the maid who thought he was dead on the floor. Come to think of it, the snoring victim lost his first match too right away. Blamed it on lack of sleep.

He is the Efren of the snoring world.

As far as apnea I don't know. I think it is magic myself.

Tell Chad he really should go to a sleep doctor to get checked for apnea... Delicious was the worst snorer I had ever heard by far, so bad that I had to wear my ear buds for shooting guns when rooming with him. I was diagnosed with sleep apnea about a month before Delicious had his heart attack and was going to tell Danny to get checked out for it. Danny ends up having a heart attack caused by sleep apnea before I talked to him... Remember Reggie White from the Packers? He was diagnosed with apnea and didn't use his CPAP machine like he was supposed to and died of an apnea induced heart attack at 43 years old (and was in pretty good shape to boot). It's a little taxing to go thru the sleep studies and to get the CPAP equipment (and adjust to using it) but improves your whole quality of life not just while sleeping...

Most of the time, when someone is reported for sleep apnea the person's driver license is taken away which is a huge inconvenience. They believe that sleep apnea causes people to not sleep properly which is considered a hazard to the road.

hilla I think you fail to comprehend the full majesty of my horses ability. It is like the Grand Canyon or Mt. Rushmore.....hard to truly explain it to those who haven't experienced it.

:D

These quotes of yours, and the "sounds like he swallowed a Harley" are hilarious!:D

Even threads on snoring are fun to read!
