Ironman,

I'd have to put James Davis Jr. as consideration for top ten and Tommy Sanders as consideration for top three (or even top 1 when he's playing).

I'd also have to put Sylver Ochoa in the top 10 one pocket players.

Since when has Billy Incardona lived in Texas?

I agree that Sylver should be in the top 10 1pocket players in Texas. Pretty silly mistake, but, it's early.
I just couldn't put Jr in the top 10, as much as I would like to. But, that is just my opinion.
Billy has lived here for about 3-4 years now. He is living in Dallas.
I certainly agree about Tommy Sanders and since he plays so seldom anymore, I just didn't consider it. When he is playing though, well, we both know what that is all about. The man can play.
I hope Sylver doesn't see this or he will never let me forget it.

Not a lot of play in San Antonio anymore. Very little action, if any.
John Drew moved to Dallas a couple of years ago, so, there is no reason for anyone to stop here.
I live in San Antonio, but I stay gone as much as I possibly can.

wow, count on me to be there if this is true. he would now what a player would want in a pool room. very knowledgeable player, great guy and is always willing to throw out any pointers to anyone who would care to listen. even the road players stop and listen to his 2 cents.

Robin Adair
CJ Wiley
Charlie Bryant
Jui Lung Chen

I think Jr should be in this list as well... I think he is just a half step above Rick... (not to take away anything from his game...)

Rick - I know you are reading this - you suck. :p

Easy on rick, he is a very insensitive guy!!

Are you SURE that all you guys are from Texas????

The reason I ask is that C.J. Wiley's name has not been mentioned yet. If he laid down his cue, lost an eye and an arm, became an alcoholic, and spent 6 years in prison without ever playing - he would STILL be one of the best players in Texas (if not the U.S.).

I watched him at DCC this year and he didn't miss a single ball in about an hour (still lost the match, though, to George Breedlove).

CJ is on my list.

Yes, Robin Adair. Robin has been one fo the best players in Texas for a very long time. He deserves to be on my list.
