Top 10 bar table players in your state

In no particluar order (and solely my opinion)

1) Glenn Atwell
2) Dan Louie
3) Eddie Mataya
4) Don Wirtaman
5) Todd Marsh
6) Pat Shoemaker
7) Damian Pongpanik
8) Rich Geiler
9) John "JD" Doherty
It's kinda tough to leave Jim Conway off this list (WA state).

Of the players listed above, Jim has probably spent more time on the 7 and 8-footers than anybody, except maybe Don Wirtaman. Can't speak to Pat and his table size experience.

TENNESSEE

HENNESSEE is numuro uno

after that there are apprx 30 that could be 2 through 10 contingent on breaks, rolls, etc.

Don't forget about Josh O'Neal...I heard he's a pretty strong BB player from Tenneseee...not quite as strong as Henny, but not far off either.

Oh, and there really are no decent bar table players in ND....

I know there has been threads about best and top 10 players in your state. But I have yet to see one just for the bar table only.It has become such a huge part of pool I thought a state by state list would be interesting to see.IMO.
Here's mine but not in any order.
1-Beau Runningen
2-Jimmy "The Kid" Wetch
3-Demi Jelatis
4-Mario Parayano
5-Lee Heuwagon
6-Jason Kubiszewski
7-Jamie Pluta
8-Tony Zierman
9-Tony Hilla
10- Derek McMasters/Tim Tonjum

There is a few that could be on any given day.

I've had the pleasure of beng drubbed by half the players on your list (+Danny Green) and would agree with it completely.

Scott was talking about moving to FLA. Is he still in DC?

I know he was playing in the apa masters leage with manny chu who they kicked out joey ryann who just moved to florida and won the first turney and brian deskra , that team made it to the vegas qualifier round and i believe joey is comming back for that,

ya i have been thumped by several of them on that list , i have played wilki twice 7-5 clatterbuck 7-5 once thats the best ,the rest of that wrecking crew the most i have got was 3 games with a couple of goose eggs, there is a whole group of players that could crack that top ten ,
but based on currant tittles a strength of action matches i went with those

In a 10 ahead I like clatterbuck by a slight margin over chu, my irish buddy Mcreesh next to kieth have great hands and in top speed can play with anybody but no one on that list is weak,

I would roll anywhere with that group and like my chances:)

The best weekend bar table in the world!

Since all of these players have been outted, they should consider showing up at THE BEST BAR TABLE TOURNAMENT IN THE WORLD.

Thirty and FORTY THOUSAND DOLLAR Calcuttas will make you drive 2,000 miles.

Chris Miller's auctioneering skills are second to none and his
"show" is worth seeing in person just to witness it. The guy in INCREDIBLE!

I am going to list the DC surrounding since the same group of players play in that 150 sq mile area

ryan Mcreesh ( had to list my fellow Irishman first no order after)
matt clatterbuck
brandon shuff
matt krah
josh brothers
manny chu
shaun wilkie
scott tollefson

and these 2 if they decide to come out of retirement would easily make top ten

Keith Mcready
Danny Green

Dam looking at that list I will roll with that wrecking crew anywhere and like my chances:)

I play out of Fast Eddie's in Alexandria but i went to one 9 Ball tournament at Orange Ball back in January and i think i met you.... Not too sure.

My first opponent was Danny Green of all people. My race to five was over in 15 minutes

His name's Ray? Ray what? PM me if you're scared of getting punched in the neck. :D

I do not like getting punched in the neck. That why I carry Smith & Wesson.

Damn Joey, you are hungry for action huh? Don't blame ya. Watching all that great pool in Atlanta is giving me the fever too!

I WILL be at White Diamond Billiards too! Last event paid out over $40,000.00!!

Here is what I think. No paticular order.

1. Danny Olson
2. Dick Spitzer (however doesn't play singles anymore)
3. Allen Duprel
4. Ken Nash
5. Tanner Pruess (when he wants to play)
6. Shane Van Boening (by far)
7. Chad Barber
8. Dave Olson (Dannys dad)
9. Justin Brandt
10. Josh Bose

Anyone besides Shane can get played by me just come on down to the Dakota Cue Club
