Top 6 bar table players

Seriously Deadpoked...thats uncalled for. The man has won some huge barbox events. He's not one that I think you'd necessarily want to anger either.;)

He started in on me first Varney. I'm not going to let someone call me names without getting my jabs in. I made a valid point that corvettes list was not comprised of the top bar table players in the US and anyone with any sense would agree. Brian White might be up there but I didn't single him out. Although... I doubt he would jump at the chance to go heads up against the guys I mentioned.

Could be. I guess those two 10-packs and one 11-pack McCready ran out at the Super Billiards Expo last year on the Action Table were just a flashback. In fact, nobody would challenge him after his fine exhibition on the bar box, and the table closed down. Maybe it was not McCready himself and was only a mere imposter.

I am good friends with Russ Edwards and I am sure he will be flattered when I call him and tell him he made this list. He would be the first to tell you that he is a solid player but not in the class of these guys.

VooDoo, where did you see Russ play? Chattanooga, Louisville?
There's not a better guy out there than Russ.................

By George, I just happen to have me a picture of McCready at the SBE on the Action Table, holding the cabbage he pocketed. Bar box table depicted on the left!

Oh, yeah, and then there's this little nugget, which also just happened to be at the same SBE in Valley Forge at the Pro/Am event, with players like Hatch, Feijen, Morris, Owen, and Basavich, just a sampling of the field I can remember at the time of this writing.

Keith and Shannon Daulton came down to a hill-hill for the championship, with Keith coming in second place to Shannon. The next year, Keith came in third at the same event. BTW, this tournament is held on the bar boxes!

After drinking how many 12-packs?........:D Just kidding, Jam.

And I just remembered a name that I haven't seen on here yet (but I could have missed it).

We are talking about Keith quite a bit, but at the Derby City a couple of years ago, I saw Alex Pagulyan give Keith sizeable weight on the bar table and beat him pretty soundly. And I have to say that the precursor to that match was one of the greatest woofing bouts in the history of pool. Anyone who missed those negotiations and that match missed a classic.

Yeah, I was there, and it wouldn't have mattered what Keith got spotted that day.

However, on any given day, for anyone to say Keith McCready has no game on a bar table in the year 2007, they are sorely misinformed.

As far as drinking the 12-packs, there's a reason why you have not seen me or Keith on the tournament trail in recent times, and I will just leave it at that. I'm sick and tired of watching players dance in front of a packed house of excited onlookers, only to be sucker-punched after the fact.

I guess you didn't read my initial post and list. Oh yeah, and I know all of them too. My second list I was being sarcastic and put Brian on there because he's one of my good friends and he does play jam up on a barbox. It was kind of a jab at him because he saw everyone talking about the Smokey Mt. Shootout without including him and he's had as much success there as anyone. Anyway, I will spot you 3 punches if you would like to step in the ring with Brian.

Sorry vette... I'm not interested in fighting someone because you both were offended because I didn't recognize him as a top player. You do sound very macho though trying to set that fight up.

I believe this pic is from your younger days, right?

I noticed we had a thread devoted to bar players and I just wanted to mention I'm GREAT at Beirut. Y'all got action.

I woke up this morning and noticed that this thread was on the 3rd page. Such a fun thread, how did that happen?

You didn't play third tier the night I met you in G'ville. You were giving the seven to a decent player. I came in, played some ten dollar nineball (with a "hustler" as the guy put it). It got late and you were still playin' that donatin' dude. I made $60. You made $600. I'll say hello next time.
