I was talking to a Cue maker about my first Mastif, He is my avitar. Tiger Shadowmoss was his name. He died a couple years ago, so we talked about doing a tribute cue to him and I just got some preview pictures and I thought I'd share.

That's a very thoughtful gesture and very well executed...the scrimshaw looks fantastic..
Would love to see the cue finished. Curious though..who's the cue maker?

Tribute Cue

WoW, amazing cue & story. The Scrimshaw looks exactly like him. I too would like to know the maker, collaboration pair on this one. Cant wait to see the final.

I think that's awesome I had a Boston terrer named don won lol had him for
13 yrs slept at foot of my bed I really miss him he was part of my family so great idea.
Is cue goin to have a ivory handle or ivory sections in handle or ivory butt sleeve just curious and curious how everything can flow if u don't mind me asking is that bob Hergerts work? He awesome I'm gone have him do the ivory butt sleeve and points simply put I'm gone let him loose on all the ivory in my new playing cue that's being made. Please post pics when done would love to see it finahed and I'm gone tell ya I'm gone have one made for my dog that passed away I fully understand y u wanted it done and done so well I repect that means u really loved and cared for your dog. Repect!!!!

The cue is a segmented Cocobola with Ivory rings and joint. I'll let you know the maker and artist when finished. I was told that they decided to add more scrimshaw work than I originally thought so waiting a little longer.

What a wonderful way to memorialize one of our four legged loved ones. I'm sure that will be a cue you keep forever!

"If love could have saved him, he would have lived forever"

Well Eric, I don't know you like that, but know very much about you ,having met. As the love I know you have for your dogs and that breed of dog, the story itself, the cues looks so far, that's a very sentimental piece and something to be cherished till death. The scrimshaw work is very high quality as I like to collect scrim work myself , can't wait to see who did it. There is no better bond than a man and his dog that's for sure and this is no exception as shadowmoss' memory will carry on through a work of art and pool cue. Two great loves in one item, very cool

My brindled baby is in my avatar with me ...
Great idea for your cue. If you miss a shot, you can blame the cue "dogged it".

I like most Dog better, then most people I meet, or do business with. Dog are the real deal, and 110% honest.
