Quick! Off the top of your head -- who do you think is considered as the Greatest BOWLER of All Time? (This is pool-related, believe me). Or just guess the NATIONALITY. No cheating/checking the internet! Just tell me the first answer that pops into your head. Great No-prizes at stake!!! Answer to follow.....
Earl Anthony comes to mind, but it's just a guess and no idea about a pool connection. Oh wait.....Same first name as Earl Strickland!

Just read the article. Noticed that Nepomoceno married a Puyat. There's the pool connection right there. ;)

I'll go with that answer too. Very biasly pinoy. :D

Must be Norm Duke, he is so little. He's only like 5 and a half feet and a buck 25 but is one of the best. How can you not vote for such a small guy that can throw that heavy rock and beat big burly men easily 22x his size.

Based on big tournament wins it is Earl Anthony. But Walter Ray Williams is I think just 1 win behind him now...It took Walter Ray longer to get there though...

Nuts! I was trying to figure out the pool related connection. My guess was going to be Earl Anthony because I seem to remember him being called "The Pearl", like Earl Strickland.

How did Earl Anthony die? I remember reading he fell down his basement steps, but wasn't there someone else in the house with him at the time of his death that was a non-family member? Was is considered suspicious?

My favorite bowlers were Dick Weber, Johnny Petraglia, Nelson Burton Jr, Carmen Salvino and Pete Weber.

I went to high school with a guy who came from the Philippines.

Should I start a new thread on a billard message board about that, too?

A friend of mine who grew up in St. Louis says that Nelson Burton, Jr. was the greatest bowler he ever saw.
