This was his latest scam. I know a guy whose wife invested their entire savings in this thing. Then she left him and went off with another member.
My father came to this country from Italy and he used to tell me all the time. "If you can't get rich here it's your own fault, the people here are so stupid".
Just watch a few minutes if the clip in the news story and it is amazing, people are nothing more then sheep.

Deno. That is too much, but like you said, "figures". Wonder if Deno paid to be in the inner circle ($75K I think) or if KT gifted him. I imagine Deno got in by sponsoring some number of marks to join the club, but who knows, maybe he's a true believer.

And he'll start another scam the day he gets out. It's an addiction.
The smart money says it will be religion-related. Nothing sells like finding God in prison.
