Try this at home. $100 if you can do it.

Don't take the videos down until you get a notice from YouTube.

2nd that. Some music, although copyrighted will cause you to be notified but nothing else will happen. Others they will just mute the audio. In any case you will not get into any trouble about it.

The videos prove that CTE/Pro 1 works as described. That does NOT mean, nor was ever implied, that anyone that learns the system can do the same thing. They can't, and they can't for one simple reason- consistency. Stan is a pro, he has the consistency to do the same thing over and over the same way. Until one has the consistency of a repeatable stroke, shot after shot, they will miss some balls no matter how they aim, or no matter how perfectly they initially set up on a shot.

I couldn't agree with this more.

This could make for a good myth busters episode. They construct a giant table so there is no rail references. They put a man size hole in it. Have Stan blind folded and climb under the table and up the hole. They take the blind fold off and point in the general vicinity of the pocket. That is covered by a curtain.

Have Lou and JB betting large on the side. Then at the end they blow the table up.

Well that's not exactly right Neil. What the videos prove is that Stan is one hell of a pool player. If another pro were to repeat this without using CTE it would prove that they too are one hell of a pool player. Nothing more and nothing less was "proved" there.

It was however "implied" that CTE was involved in this wonderful shooting exhibition which might lead a logical/hopeful pool enthusiast to see a value in learning the system. Other than showing off a bit my guess is that was a motive for the making of the vids. That's how advertising works. Just turn on your TV after midnight and ask yourself when you will have that six pack of abs the guy on the TV has. Or the manly Johnson of "Bob". It's the same concept. And it's tried and true.

I am too honest for my own good.

It is sort of doing some over.

I just redid Curtain Video # 3 over and it only took a few takes. I am very pleased with that. I improved on my explanation at the end.

I just completed another 28 ball run calling our visuals and rotation. That was easy to redo.

Will start a couple of others shortly.

All you are seeing out of these videos that Stan has been making is that he is one hell of a pool player? You really need to open your mind up and look at the entire picture of what Stan is trying to show here. Its not just about the ball dropping in the hole. I see it as he is showing he has the knowledge and ability to teach you this with the system he has developed and what the system is capable of.

Your $100 is safe with me,,I just tried with no curtain and can't do it.
With 15 ft ceilings it would be a task to get a curtain up anyhow.
Of course its the banks that are the problem. Making that many in a row without missing.
But I did notice something.
If you line the 3 railer up from the head spot,,you can make it almost everytime without needing to look at anything else but where the head spot is. It's still difficult to pound them all in ,,in a row, without missing.
Great job to Stan,,,I have watched his videos on 14-1 in the past. Great shooter.

JB, there are just people out there who do not want CTE to work for some reason. I have Stans video but I am still trying to learn the system. From the little that I think I understand you only need to know if you are cutting the ball left or right to get your visuals, you do not need to know where you are on the table, how big the table is, (they are all twice as long as wide, correct?) or where the pocket actually is. Seems like a great system to me,

If I can get caught up enough on building ball polishers I will do my best to take your cash LOL.

Is he a pro? I'm not that familiar with his resume, but I thought he was a life long educator. Not a professional pool player. Now he can obviously play at a high level, and he can compete with the pros as seen during one of the recent U.S. Opens. But labeling him a pro I think actually does him a disservice. What I think we have here, is a man that actually had a career outside of pool and still managed to become a great player and instructor. He managed to do this, while NOT committing every waking hour of his life to the game. To me, that's more impressive than being a pro player.

Now back to videos...

Pretty much so but how thick or thin the hit is will make a difference on your reference points.

It's not instinct. But if anyone thinks it is then please go ahead and film yourself doing the same thing.

Why must others try to prove a negative?
If someone does it you will say "ok, you got the same result using some other method,
but CTE is still the nuts". It would not conclusively prove anything.

If you're claiming CTE doesn't need ANY reference to rails or pockets,
then I have an alternate bet for you.

I'll put a curtain over a dining room table and draw an X somewhere random behind the curtain.
Now you or stan or anyone else must cut the object ball over the X, or within 2 inches of it. We'll do this 3 times.
If successful all three times, you can have my own crispy $100 bill.

What effectively is the difference between this obviously impossible feat,
and what you're claiming CTE allows you to do?

It is without a doubt the closest to the Holy Grail as you will see, is it not.

Since it works so well John why dont you or some of the other pro1 guys
do up a video,Stan made it look rather easy you guys shouldnt have a problem I dont think.

What you need to do with your 100 is take yourself out for dinner, pat yourself on the back and be proud, you are aiming systems number one cheerleader.

Btw Stan good shooting.
