OK, at the prompting of one of the users here, I did some digging into all of the accounts involved in this James Walden controversy. Just for everyone's info, here is what I found.

There are five accounts involved here.

yeoldedebi
jameswaldenpro
actiongirl2013
furiousintexas
jameswalden

All five of these accounts are logging in from Oklahoma. That includes furiousintexas who has never logged in from an ip outside of Oklahoma.

actiongirl2013 is logging in from the same IP and has only posted once where she praised James and his game apparently hoping to drive interest in someone backing him. Her email address is also one character different than that of yeoldedebi

All of the recent jameswaldenpro posts asking for sponsorship came from the same IP address as actiongirl and furiousintexas.

The new jameswalden account is logging in from a completely different IP (that has never been used by any of the other accounts). I also have confirmation from a different user here that they have spoke to the user behind the new jameswalden account and they are convinced that it is, in fact, James.

So, it appears as if we have two different people here. James and someone who was asking for sponsorship for james (as jameswaldenpro), watched him play and was impressed with his game and character (as actiongirl2013) and then backed him for $2000 and was "furious" (as furiousintexas) and then changed their mind when they found out that James had never picked up the money.

Make of all of that what you will.

JAM's account of this whole affair seems spot-on accurate.

Thanks for the detective work

The end was pretty disappointing. It was just James and Debi in a diner. Journey was playing on the jukebox and it faded to black.

Mike

Was that Journey playing or a cover band logged into the jukebox and posting as Journey?

Kevin

I think in the sequel, James gives up pool to be a taxi cab driver and Debi turns out to be a passenger of his years later.

Or am I mixing my metaphors?

Mike

Do you think there will be a sequel???

Maniac, that closing time cute will get you every time.

The hard part is lying to them when you say, I'll call you later. Then you get to spend the rest of your day in disbelief in what you pulled off the night before.

Am I correct. I've never done this before so just guessing here.

O' what a tangled web we weave, when we practice to deceive.

Right now, JAM is on a conference call with all 5 of them trying to straighten this all out. But only 2 phones in use...hmmmmmm

Nice Sopranos joke from El Presidente of AZ.

F yeah that episode, hell the whole last season, was disappointing compared the early brilliance of the show.

I don't remember AZ having as many new members posting up "Look out for this guy...he's a thieving bastard" threads, but maybe I just don't pay enough attention.
