why does he keep playing people that are out of his element or past there prime why cant we see how good he really is play YANG , WU or even americas best JOHNNY ARCHER quit filling his pockects with out of date people or people that golf all day but people that love the sport and take it serious then we will see how good shane is........... but congrats to shane he plays real strong i just want to see it tested thats all.
 
So far, he has stepped up and played everyone that wanted to play him....not his fault who they were.

Did you watch any of the US open? Pretty sure he was tested there unless Ronnie Alcano is out of his prime too.

Corey Deuel is past his prime ey?? News to me and the rest of the pool world. I guess everyone that Shane beat in the U.S. Open, World 10 Ball Open were also just a bunch of hackers..hmmm!

Shane certainly appears to be the real deal to me. What do I know:confused:

World 10-ball champion, 2007 US Open Champion. I don't think we're all in awe of him beating Corey and Earl in the AC games. And calling Corey a has been is funny. He showed quite well at this year's WPC.

well i was in olathe and dennis orcullo asked shane to play winner break 8 ball and shane wouldn't play. he wanted to play rotate the break. dennis told him to pick what table they played on... it was after the 10 ball ring game.

SVB vs Bowman: SVB wins
SVB vs Corey:SVB wins

SVB vs Chohan (1p 9-7 Shane + gets a coach 2006 DCC): SVB wins

I think you got it WAY wrong on SVB playing chumps.

these are ALL gambling matches btw...SVB doesnt appear to be ducking anyone.

everybody knows gambling and tournament play are 2 different things you made a good point they all are not chumps but your right lets se him play ronnie alcano or fransico bustamante winner break
 
Don't worry, Chip just loves to stir the pot. Look back at all the posts he used to BBQ Jamie Bowman in.
 
As far as the Action CHALLENGE, he has played every swinging "Richard" that has come forth....and I dont see a line fighting outside his door to play him.

well i was about 2 ft away and heard all the woofing.. shane wouldn't play any game winner breaks. then dennis told him that he knew where to find him if he changed his mind. shane did beat him so why wouldn't he play in olathe? the action report should match them two up and lets see what happens

I bet if you asked them nicely, Corey or Earl would give you a shot the same way. Then you could pad your own pockets with some of that soft action, and you wouldn't have to be envious of SVB anymore. ;)

I agree, SVB vs. Orcullo for the next TAR Challenge!


I don't blame Shane turning down some match in Olathe, as wise players play with what they feel good, and I did hear that same already earlier, so I'm not saying that I don't believe you, but it sort of sounds strange that Shane doesn't want WB, when at least in 10-ball his break is much better than Orcullo's, and I'm sure the same goes with 8-ball also..

I NEVER SAID SHANE ISNT GREAT I SAID AS A VIEWER I WOULD LIKE TO SEE HIM TESTED IN A CHALLENGE WINNER BREAK FORMAT GAMBLING THATS IT EARL IS A DAM HEAD CASE THAT COULD OF WON 10 YEARS AGO AND COREY PLAYS GOLF ALL DAY IWANT TO SEE HIM PLAY BUSTAMANTE SOME AND I WILL NEVER TALK AGAIN
 
He doesnt have anything to prove, cant say that Im a fan, But I do think he is a very solid player..... I also know that some players play better against some players than others. at all levels of play, so Im curious to who he plays in the near future, he has established himself against some players, there are many more, both known and unknown.
