It's the most wonderful time of the year
for all to enjoy a little Christmas cheer. :D

I wanted to start a great holiday thread,
but I'd rather hear from you all instead. :p

'Twas the night before Christmas,
I was met with boredom. :(

So I soon found my way
and logged in on this forum. :)

I was hoping to read ‘bout an upcoming tourney,
But no one was posting, not even Bernie. :eek:

I steadied my hand to click on the mouse,
But what happened next shook up the whole house. :rolleyes:

Now comes your turn, to continue in my stead.

Composed During The Break

I put JD in my coffee,
To clear up my cough.
And, while playing online,
I took my clothes off.

I got up at the break,
And quick as a bat,
I ran for the john,
But tripped over the cat.

Now that I've fallen,
And I can't get up,
My screen keeps on flashing,
that I have Aces Up.

Call EMS,
As fast as you can,
Because Ultimate Bet,
Will fold my damn hand.

I lost all my money,
And I just threw up,
Before calling for help,
PLEASE cover me up.

I'm all fat and naked,
I look quite a sight,
Merry Christmas to all,
And to all a good night.....

depleting our ends,

I went to the pool room,
for a bit of some gamble,

Met up with some players,
our woofing did ramble,

Next thing you know,
we're on table 8,

I'm feeling out manned,
should have asked for the 8,

Quick with the break,
You've never heard such a clatter,

The 9 ball hung up,
Now I know what is the matter,

My opponent lined up,
to end the game fast,

I'm hoping he dogs it,
so my money does last,

He runs out that game,
the next and the next,

I'm feeling so horrid,
I know that I'm hexed,

But what do you know,
what did just appear,

I'm running some balls,
My game kicks in gear,

I ran out one game,
and then ran another,

I ran out the next,
the balls ran for cover,

I won a big sum,
and with a smile on my face,

I took down the cheese,
and exited the place,

Met the wife at home,
and flashed my new cash,

She said, "You keep gambling with Christmas money..
and that is your a&$."

Ok...that is all I have. Take it from here. LOL
 
Twas the 12th day before Christmas.
And the stores are all crowded.
I dont know what to buy my pool playing spouse.
The procrastinator shouted.

Last year was a case.
The year before that a cue.
But what to do this year.
I dont have a clue.

But then the solution appeared.
Right before mine eyes.
The PoolTees.com ebay store.
With a Twelve Dollar suprise.

Their shirts are damn cool.
But so cheap, what's the catch?
Only twelve dollars
For their overstocked stash?

You got that right.
It's yours for the taking.
PoolTees has got the best pool shirt deals.
Santa aint fakin.

Since starting on AZB it's only been a year, :eek:
But I've felt that I have made many friends here. :)
The holidays are approaching near, :eek:
And I wanted to shout out to all my AZB friends dear. :)

Too many to list, I'd look like a fool, :rolleyes:
If I forgot even one of them in this poem Yule. :p
Just suffice it to say, ALL of you are cool! :cool:
Because we share the joys and heartbreaks of pool. ;) :D

On a night I am meant to think of the needy,
I'm far too fixated on a post made by Eydie

Just as always, I'm looking for a pool game,

Well, maybe I'll take a night off from pool,

Using Christmas as an excuse may seem alright,

Hoping others like me will follow my reason.

It's too long until christmas, my new predator cues on the way,
and oh how I long to take it to the pool hall to play,
a few rounds of nine and maybe a couple of racks of eight,
I know either way I will stay out too late.

I will lose all my money, and look like a fool,
but what can I say I'm no good at pool,
I play for the fun, to relax, and to chill,
I'll have a great christmas, as I hope all AZ'ers will!!!
