Learn how to add, go to rehab, tell the truth, give the tournament to someone else. I bet no promoter wants it in it's present format. Johnnyt
 
Sorry to have missed you at the Derby, Jerry. Wanted you to know that I thought your five article wrap-up of pool in 2013 on the AZB main page was excellent.

Well, by the wording, at least it sounds like there will be one.
 
Let's hope it's back at the conference center where it belongs.... No more table one & two in room 36-C and tables 3 thru 9 are in suite 13:mad:
 
No kidding. After the fiasco at the Holiday Inn Barry came on here and said he had heard us "loud and clear" and that there would be no more multi-room US Opens. Then he did it again anyway at the Marriott last year. He needs to pay more attention to his promises. Does he think we just forget?
 
Well I'm sure he tried but he needs to succeed. I heard he ows $$$$ to the conference center

Last years was not bad ... 1 main room... with 1 overflow for the first 2 days...

But the conf. center would be nice if $$$ is there for it....

Please convince them to have a stream on six or 8 major tables, i hate to miss a good match. Even if the stream not as clear, at least better than a pro playing a B player. Let the viewers decide and flip back and fourth to any match they like. I am welling to pay couple of $$ to support the effort, i am sure many AZber can help too.

Although strange and mystifying from this point. I have it on good authority that there is nothing to see here and Barry B just wanted AZB to post something to let people know a PR was on its way. Just a little hype. Everyone relax :)
 
I'm dreading that he'll say it's the end of it. Earl's record will stand forever.
I liked the event + venue last year, and it sounds like the players were paid,
so I'm hoping he can do more like that.

You should have had Mike announce that you would be announcing that Barry will be announcing something about the Open.:)

Well aren't you the killjoy. Our imaginations were running wild - ranging from apocalypse, to already escrowed to dog neutering. :mad: Maybe it's as simple as the lovely Shannon getting a new dress.
