Yes, it gets tougher for everyone from hereon in. I don't know why, but I always root for the ladies if they're paired up against the guys!
About scott frost... AZ has a news item about the ongoing matches
and mentioned Scott came down with a sudden and nasty cold that apparently
has hit some other players. He was sick as a dog.
I dunno where they start paying out but I don't think anyone will casually bail on a 500 dollar entry fee.
Even if you're already in the money, I think you only need to play a single match per day
and you just need to win a race to 11 to get hundreds or potentially even thousands more.
