I came across a cue with a different logo on it and was wondering if anyone could help me with it. It looks like a dP with the shafts laying on top of one another so it is one line. its in gold. I have no idea who it is, any ideas let me know if you would. thanks johnnyg

Dale Perry maybe. Have never owned one, but this was the first name that came to my mind

pat diveney?

AHhhhhhhh... Then no, never seen anythinng like that. I also noticed a thread yesterday that had a list which went through 300+ custom cuemakers and I venture to guess that's not even a fraction of how many there have been at one time of another and the boat loads that may have made a couple cues and gave up on it for whatever reason. GOod luck figuring it out though. If your ever going to, this forum is the right place to start.

There is a good suggestion for the blue book

After looking through a copy of the BB a long time ago, I remember thinking how odd it was that there was no index of logos.

I really thought for sure they would have corrected this oversight in later editions, and yet they have not.

I think it is a no brainer. I think it is very likey that at some point you will encounter a cue that has a marking, but is not obvious what it signifies. This case is a prime example. Is it a "dp" or a :pd: ? I mean you can just start by looking under "p" and "d", but there are many other markings that do not even have letters in them. Having maybe 8-10 pages ( maybe even less depending on format) of a cuemakers logo index would be very helpful. Just a pic of a log and a name of a cuemaker (and maybe a corresponding page number). It is possible that this maker may not even be listed, but how frustrating is it to possibly be holding the info you are needing, and not know where to look? Then again maybe not!

Anyone on here who knows the right people should mention this bit of oversight, and hopefully make future editions much better.

Just a somewhat related thought.

Sorry, I could not help actually identify the cue. Good luck
