just to let those of you who are ignorant of the existence of Lizard Acres we're here all right. And we shoot a mean game of pool. I'm just starting to get this organized and I hope to be posting the local happenings daily.we're not as big or as important as Desmoines, Nebraska but we are the pool hotbed west of the Agua Fria River and north of Bell Road. I ,personally , have river front property. Some of our better known bad boys of pool are; Auto Zone Don, Off the wall Don, George the Jump, Deacon Dick,
3-ball Larry, Prescott Tommy, Dave the Coach, Billy Bones, Big Leo , Blind Jerry, One-Hole John, Lean Dean, Herb Herb, and so on. They're all pretty consistent
finishers in local tourneys (6 & under that is) Consistently last. Anyway , that's it for now. Oops. I forgot to include cocobolo cowboy. He's sort of the rules enforcer of the room. A necessary evil, if you know what I mean.
Hasta la vista , baby!:wave3:

nice! you guys should have tournys!

LOL! Thanks...I needed that! So many big names getting the glory, it's about time somebody stood up and demanded to be counted.

How is Billy Bones hitting them these days?

Name sounds familar. Think we meet. Could be either a
Tournament at the Shanty in North County San Diego or in Kingman, AZ.
Please ask him.

yo, rackem!

Nah, my friend Billy Bones loves the game but is a banger a little less talented than I am. I named him after a character in Treasure Island.
Beware of what is truth and what is s-t-r-e-t-c-h-e-d truth as I update you folks on the pool scene in Lizard Acres.

west valley

Since we're brothers in the west valley I'd like to get some info on what's going on over here from Surprise, Peoria, and Glendale.:welcome:

I can walk to Lizard Acres from my house.

Jason, you'll have to come over and we can check out all these hustlers. Bring some quarters as they like to bet it up.

I can bring my live stream equipment!

You know what, I'll bet you give Des Moines Nebraska a run for their money
in size. Now, Des Moines Iowa...............Not so sure.

Jerry if you are in Peoria, you can walk to Lizard Acres in a in maybe 2-3 hours, it is not next to Peoria. But the time you complete your walk, your Quarter will be spent on water or something cold to drink.

BTW you don't have to play Pool for money, for it to be FUN. IMHO!!!!

Actually my address is Sun City and from my front door to the center of Lizard Acres is 4.7 miles (according to google maps). Just have to walk past Stardust Golf Course and cross over Pebblebrook Golf Course.

I didn't even know there was a Lizard Acres in Arizona or anywhere else. Are you anywhere close to Elephant Walk or Rhino Flats? I heard there's some real animals playing around those places. I did spend some time in Tigerland in Louisiana, but I was more concerned with the bullets flying overhead than the pool action.

no-no

Sorry, no pictures , no real names. Just our ,"street," names. WE travel
into the real world incognito. We're what you might call us,"NINJA HUSTLERS."
A special and heretofore unacknowledged brotherhood of sharks fighting to even the odds for the common man (6's and lower):grin-angelic:

We are easily spotted in our Black Ninja PJs, with our Hearing Aids, Canes, Crutches, Walkers and Motorized Scooter.

FYI Lizard Acres is just a Old Rail Road Stop you will find along Grand Avenue, in the Western Part of the Valley of the Sun.

Would like to go out there and play some of you young bucks some one pocket sometime even if its cheap $5 a game. ;)

P.S. Do not be scared 12310bch, 10-6 is an easy game for you as I cant even hold a cue right!:embarrassed2::(

The people in Lizard Acres hold on to money real tight, if you roam around out he you will seldom find a PENNY on the ground.
