The WPA doesn't think so :)

LOL... Roy, I knew that you (of all people) would see right through that post!

This is going to be a great tournament - who are you picking to win?

I am hoping for either Hohmann or Feijen, but it would actually be pretty cool if Mike Sigel won it.

I am not a big fan of Mike Sigel, but for some strange reason I do think that I want him to win it... strange... Can't explain.

Mike is a favorite to win any tournament that he enters - he's got that winner's attitude and confidence that is as big as all outdoors.

My pick this year is Niels Feijen. If he gets in the zone and into the balls - then his opponents will just be well dressed spectators.

Yeah, I don't think there are many people who can play 14-1 as good as Niels.

He hasn't made many very high runs, but he is always making 60s, 70s and 80s in almost every match he plays. He is so consistent, it's hard to beat that...

Great list now developing. I'm curious, does anyone know what the planned first place payout is?

John Schmidt and Tony Robles are in I believe but I have no idea why they aren't on the list.

Jimmy Gottier and Jonathan Smith qualified in NYC so they would be in there as well.

Does anyone know of anyone else that is playing that isn't listed? Even with the 4 players I listed it's only 30 players.

Danny Harriman said he was in.

Mark Snodgrass qualified and so did Bob Cozzolino and they are both going.

I heard from a reliable source that Danny H is not coming.

that would be too bad. He's a good player.

At first he said he wasn't going then on 7/24, he said:

"Also I have some great news it looks like I will be competing in the 14.1 World Championships Tournament after all."

Maybe something fell through. :(
