My plan is to hit the paved trail extremely early on the 24th, and get there during the afternoon. It's roughly a 10hr drive for me, so it will be rest stops only. A solid night's rest should be more than adequate.

When I was in a similar situation, the hardest part for me was to shut out all of the distractions/situations going on around me. Try to focus on the table and bringing your arm through straight. Easier said than done. Have fun and don't sweat the small stuff. There's bound to be small stuff that you can't do anything about.
