At least it's still on 9 footers.

With the way things are going with pool tournaments, the 2022 US Open will be played on the 9 Ball Run-Out Dudez app on iPads instead of real tables.
 
So the key to handing Pat F.75k a month ahead of time is Barry 250 VIP seats to sell this year...more than ever before. Has Barry have not heard about 20 VIP seat holders over the years say no way Jose' are they going this year. So why goes he think he can sell 250 VIP seats that early?

Barry wants the 75k added in early to show the top players around the world everything will be cool. Come on down. Aren't the out of the country players the ones that got paid last...big time last? Johnnyt

So this is the real reason the OP posted this thread -- he has no joined Barry's side. I hope he is ready to loan Barry the 75K. My offer to bet Barry it doesn't happen by the deadline still stands.

Once again, I predict their goals and reality will diverge, even with the eminently capable Pat Fleming in charge of the funds. To sell out the VIP seats at all may or may not be realistic, but my opinion is it's totally unrealistic to expect to sell them out 90 days before the event. So what happens if they aren't sold?

I HOPE I'm wrong, but based on what my experience is with people and their event planning habits, Barry, Pat and the players should regroup and come up with a viable plan allowing more time to sell the seats and a strategy for what will occur if they don't.

Depending on VIP seats is doing the same thing again and again. Instead og bag pipes and $100 booze, take the money and pay someone too run the whole thing. Johnnyt

... The original post said they would be using the Magic Rack with the 9 on the spot and knowing what I knew about the 2011 Moscoi cup I started lobbying to get the Accu-Rack Diamond 9 template used instead... After sending links to videos and references Barry took a look at our templates.

We are pleased and proud to be the official racking template of the 40th US Open 9-Ball Tournament...

We will strive to provide the players with the best possible solution to having the 9 on the spot while using a template...

I am not privy to how the added money is progressing or where it is being gathered from... 2 more things that I need to get out there.... 3 balls past the side pocket.. Yes balls made count against that total and the 2 ball is racked in the very back according to the info I have been provided... Will get 100% confirmation tomorrow......
