Dave-
With all due respect, this "crusade" was created by Kevin. If you want to reprimand anyone, its him. Kevin started the thread and admitted outright that the blank was not his. The owner's wife (who initially ordered the cue) also posted and Masonh posed his question to her. Once again, Kevin read WAAAY too much into the inquiry and posted in his usual arrogant and defensive manner.
If anyone started this mess, it was Kevin. Don't blame others for wanting an answer to a simple and fair question.
Most customers normally don't know where the blanks, or woods, etc. come from, so she probably wouldn't have been able to answer the question anyways, IMO.
First, I want to say I'm NOT defending him, or anyone else!! I have read the posts in this thread and if Masonh really just wanted to know who the blank was from, and NOT create the ensuing rush of KV beatings, then a pm would have been the way IMO, but I get the impression that
this is exactly what he wanted to do. And you guys jumped in faster than stink on sh$t, almost as if you practice it.
As for the him stating 'it was another's blank' why is that so bad??? Atleast he was upfront about it. One would think that all the participants would have something better to do than to wait for the varney detectors to go off and go running to the keyboards to gang rape KV every time he posts. JUST PUT HIM ON IGNORE and go on with your lives, please.
I'm repeating this..
I'm NOT here to defend him, I'm airing my Opinion, just as I've had to read everyone elses and I'm just damn tired of trying to view a thread about a new cue and look at it, or any thread for that matter, without all the immature rantings, bashings, and BS from the anti- groups that have formed here as of late, that in this particular issue, for the most part, such as yourself, aren't a customer, and have lost absolutley nothing in this whole mess but have this compulsion to jump in and beat the dead horse deader under the pretense of warning other potential customers, which was already done months ago and now is just plain persecution, IMO. If the customers feel burnt, and I understand why they would, then they
should seek legal action, and
I would urge that they do, but if the by-standers want in on the action, then they should pay for a cue from him, then get in the legal line with the other customers at the courthouse, not here. The points were made months ago, no need to continue over and over and over. Then we won't have to hear about it every freaking time we power on our computers and try to spend what little time we have during our busy days relaxing and ENJOYING this forum again.
I'm done, so I'm getting off my soapbox and will not return to post in this thread, as I know that all that is going to be done is to bash me along with KV, as your group doesn't seem to tolerate any dissenting opinions from your own. Go ahead, but atleast rethink the whole 'mob' type mentality that seems to be prevailing around this forum as of late. (and I don't mean the Soprano type of mob).
