Very dissapointed in lee brett. Should be ashamed

I saw his initial post and put aside differences and posted again on his behalf. We got the money together, everyone paid Lee and then Lee well, acted like Lee.

Guess its back to being a jerk for the next 5 months for me.

It was big of you to set it up, and you had a right to be angry in the aftermath. You're just going too far with it. I'm surprised your post didn't get you a short vacation; it was way out of line. You're not a jerk, just PO'd. We get it.

PS: I know where Hamilton is, I lived there amongst the million other places I've been moved to. ;)

Hell, I don't even turn my TV on anymore.......I just login here for my entertainment !!!

i dont have TV either, to many commercials i forget what i'm watching there ae so many, i gave it years ago.

Ah, you guys are right English & Luxury. I misremembered the movie.
And yeah, I get what you mean.

I think good character would be, if someone else is investing in you, you play serious
and and do those small things that might give you a small edge in your match
(such as eating and drinking right). You do that not so much because you absolutely
must win so you can pay them back, but just to show respect and appreciation to them.
Like "I'm determined to give you maximum effort for the buck, thanks for backing me."

At the same time, maybe it really was just an excuse.
Wouldn't be the first time I saw someone just plain get beat and then say 'ahhh it was all those beers'.
Maybe some of us are being too hard on the guy or he's being too hard on himself.
Sometimes you just get outplayed.

I recall a time when my friend staked a well known player to play in a large tournament in the Phillipines. Gave him money for travel, food and lodging for the duration of the tournament. Turns out that the player did not even play (participate) in the tournament.
My friend found out from someone he knew that was there that player was partying with the girls and did not play at all.
Well, player had the balls to call my friend and ask for more money so he could stay a few days longer.
This player is well known and respected. Who would of thought it was possible?
Could of bashed him on the forum.
Could of bought a lot of lottery tickets and had a better chance to cash.

Sorry, about my badly worded post. What I meant was that he himself claimed that alcohol caused his poor play. Wether he was drunk or hung over seems kind of a moot point, don't you agree? Don't think that makes me a hater or revisionist. He was up against it either way against Dechaine. Reminds me of a particular player who got run out on in a race to five, not even getting to the table, and then complaining that he played badly;)

No not really. But it's all good.

I always played a little better with a hangover. Prolly cause I didn't give a shit and quit over thinking everything. :shocked2:

I don't think you're a hater or revisionist. Things get muddled real easy here on the forum.

I played in our weekly event yesterday and lost to a female player that flat out got lucky. I don't mind winning by luck but I sure hate losing by it. :D

Why not post and save someone else the large loss? These are the guys we don't need in pool.

Exactly...can't believe that oncue4u thought his friend was being the bigger man by not posting about how this pro was deceitful and basically stole his cash. Whoever that pro was makes Lee Brett's behavior look like child's play.

I know I'm doing no favors in letting this thread die by posting this, but it is probably time to do just that. I can't say he didn't deserve to be called out, but dragging this topic on forever just seems to be going a little overboard and unfair.

And now Jay is paying for that little party for the rest of his life.

What the hell, he's happy, leave him alone, he now has a sweet, innocent, little Filipina and life goes on.

Let's weasel that pool player's name out of onecu4u. Chewing on Lee's bones is getting old.
