Very dissapointed in lee brett. Should be ashamed

Worry about your own life, and get a life!! instead of making smart ass comments about mine all the time....

Lee,
I know very little about you. When you posted to get staked, I hoped that people could come through for you as you seemed like a good guy down on his luck through no fault of his own.

What I find interesting is you post something on FB, then let this thread go on for 15 pages before finally posting on here. And then it's just to trash someone who trashed you. I guess I was just expecting more from your first post back.

Not a hater, just an observation. Good luck in 8 ball.

If Lee said having a hangover was his excuse for losing to Mike D. then it was the worst cover EVER. Sorry when you're being staked by a corporation made up of the world's most vocal pool nuts you don't tell them you lost because you got drunk.

Lee should have just said he lost to Mike D. enough said.

I think this needs restating. If anyone believes Lee lost to the Head coz he had a bunch of drinks, then I dunno what.

Act like an adult and don't ask for a handout you loser. People like you are pathetic. You think you're owed something by everyone. Lets cut the shit, you're a pathalogical liar, you're uneducated and unskilled. The one thing you think you're good at is playing pool, you're not good enough to make money playing. Get a real job instead of trying to be buddy buddy with people who don't even like you. I've yet to meet a single person who has got to know you who doesn't think you're a weasel. I tried my best (again) to even help you out and you were typical Lee and screwed it up again.

Calls em as I see em.

why you holding back? tell 'em how you really feel

To be fair Lee was at the same bar as me (and a large number of other players who had to play the next day) and I even bought Lee a drink. We were all drunk. I'm expected to get drunk, I'm not a pro player only a pro drinker. But there were several pros drinking with us that happened to win the next morning.

Fast Eddie loses to Fats & tells Burt he got drunk. It's a good 'excuse' for losing.

Eddie drank, Fats drank. Fats drank as much as Eddie. Fats knew how to drink. If one does know how to drink then one should not drink. It's part of what Burt called 'Character'. I hope Lee does not find his in a similar manner that Eddie found his.

We should all pray for those that need help. So many of us do in so many ways.

Regards & Best Wishes to All including Lee,
Rick

Way to go enabler lol j/k! I'm a pro drinker too imo. I laugh when buddies of mine twice my size have the same amount of booze and are hammered while I am maybe a tad tipsy (not that it's ever a contest).

Between Lee Brett and Cleary people spent $1100 for zero chance of return

As soon as put_upor_shutup can get the video of me walking into the swimming pool fully clothed after my match with Ernesto off his phone, my backers will feel they EASILY doubled their investment.

Wrong.

The return on Cleary was comedy.

The return on Lee was drama.

IMHO, both were not unexpected results.

Considering I dropped out of the tourney and most likely allowed lee Brett to receive a spot, everyone can thank me for all the subsequent drama. I understand the next big tourney coming up is turning stone, what do you guys think ? I'm looking for a stakehorse.... Lol .... Come on AZ I think I can win it all.

That's ok I was getting tired of watching classiccues chase JB all over the place, Dave chase Lou, and JB chase the aiming forum. Now I have something new to watch, Dan chasing Lee.

People sure do get angry on this board. My feelings are summed up by the below:

The $5 I spent on Cleary is less than I spend:
- in a week at the vending machines
- in a week on lottery tickets
- in 10 minutes at a pool hall
- in 30 seconds shooting my AR-15
- in 45 minutes on my commute to or from work

I've said before, I feel like the ROI was adequate. The laughs I got from the "Do The Math" (Bald Mike, White Guy) video were probably worth the money alone.

I didn't contribute to Lee Brett's entry because I was worried about the internal conflict I'd face if both horses made it to the finals.

Turning Stone is full last I heard. Too bad, you were first on my list of other AZBers who I wanted to donate to.

Na I don't really drink and I would never drink before playing pool.
My arm is plenty loose betting my own I can only imagine how good I would play on the freeroll.

You mite be fooled James (if you never played when being staked) , I always bet my own money when i played pool, i would let my friends add on it they wished.

I played staked 1 time, it was the most pressure i ever felted and i played terrible, cause the whole time i was wondering what kind of shit i was going to have to hear after losing someones money, so i never played like that again.

For me i had no pressure betting my own money and all of it most of the time, hell if i lost i was broke again, no big deal, i been there plently of times!

With all due respect, you are not being very analytical.

People that staked Lee Brett invested $550 trying to help a player down on his luck, and possibly HOPING to get a return on their "investment"

People that staked Cleary for $550 did so for the entertainment factor.... Nothing more, nothing less.
They knew that Cleary was going there to give it his best effort, but his main objective was to party(and look good doing it).... Most everyone knew that going in.

I feel 100% confident in saying that Cleary's "investors" expected ZERO return on their investment.

Just an observation:rolleyes:
