Video evidence that Cyclop is garbage

It can be taken to mean that way, but considering the vague wording and carefully chosen phrasing, I expect that it meant something more along the lines of "We will replace cue balls if there aren't too many claims, but once it becomes uneconomical, we can still fall back on the 'not obvious flaw' statement to deny claims and cut our losses." The Apple-esque refusal to even acknowledge that there is a problem also doesn't exactly inspire confidence.

I'm really sorry Masayoshi, but I don't think your statements can carry any truth or meaning without actually having sent in a ball or balls with problems and then being turned down.

Anything else is pure speculation.

I know Mark personally, and I can assure you that there isn't a more stand up guy out there. If you have a defective cyclops ball, then not only will he be glad to replace it, but he would really want to do so. Without having examples of problems, solutions simply cannot be developed.

I've had my set for a while now, and no issues. I would highly suggest them. Best ball set for the price point by FAR.

What's the over/under on the amount of balls Mark G/CSI receives? I'm thinking it's gonna be very few,if any.

Like any other product on the market, sometimes a bad batch passes by
Quality Control. That is why auto manufacturers have factory recalls.

Perhaps of the balls that get returned to Mark he will be able to trace
their respective "in service dates" and then be able to offer recalls on
the ball sets sold between "xx-xx-xxxx" and "zz-zz-zzzz"

However he will never be able to do this if you don't get off your azz
and turn your balls in.

I am just glad I read this prior to buying a new set of Balls. Buying Aramith, they don't have this kind of bad rep. Thanks for the information as it saved me from wasting my money on bad equipment.

LOU the CSI shill, a person who has never seen, or ever will see any thing that CSI does or is involved with as wrong or flawed.
Make sure to put a lot of stock in what he says. Give me a break Lou you're like a puppy that follows CSI around wagging it's tail.
Good Boy Lou ! Go lay down.

Once again, you have your facts wrong. I was critical of the CSI decision to call their bar table events US Opens.

Other than that, I don't know what you're talking about. I own a set of Cyclops balls, like them, and use them on regular basis, preferring them over the set of Super Aramiths I also own.

Other than that, I can also read what is actually being said on the group, unlike you who appears to prefer to listen to voices in your head ;-)

I'm guessing he's going to find jaw marks from a vise on the "cracked" ball :-)

Oh my, I missed the one time you were critical, how could I do that ?

"I don't want to speak for Mark", Really Lou, did you really just say that ? LOL.
Good one !!! I don't want to breath, but I do it all the time too, so I'll forgive you.

I don't need forgiveness from a troll.

More spin from Lou :grin-square:

Go find your ball, puppy dog

lol, I'm going to give you a chance to prove my, er, your point. I say you can't keep your facts straight and make them up out of thin air. (You've already demonstrated that several times in this thread.) You say, "LOU the CSI shill, a person who has never seen, or ever will see any thing that CSI does or is involved with as wrong or flawed."

So, OK, tell me all the times I have failed to see something that CSI did was wrong. Should be able to rattle the list off right off the top of your head, no?

LOU the CSI shill, ...Snip........
I am currently at the Western BCA in Lincoln City. They have 80 tables set up with Cyclop balls. I have not seen or heard of any complaints about the balls. I have been playing yearly in this event and never heard of any experiencing problems with the balls since they started using them.

Seems like the shrill voices in this thread are coming from people with little or no experience with the Cyclop balls.

I like the balls and to have them personally guaranteed by Mark makes it a no brainer for me to buy a set.

Cyclop balls on Diamond tables is a great game.

Same here. I played with them at a couple of DCCs and the last edition of the SC. I liked them and heard mostly positive comments.

Cyclops balls and Diamond tables are as good as it gets.

Forgive me for asking a possibly stupid question, but how does one "test" a cue ball to see if it's within spec? I don't have that kind of equipment at my house or at the local pool hall, but if there is some other acceptable method that CSI and Diamond endorses, please let us know.

We simply had two local pro's try to shoot the cue ball slow enough to cross a 9-foot Diamond table and end up on the bottom rail within an inch or so from a diamond. We have several brands of cue balls and this proved easy for all of them except our Cyclop one. The Cyclop ball was a full ball off or more every time.

Since this method isn't "scientific", I'm looking for a method that is "scientific" so we can test our Cyclop balls in the future.
