Video: Max Eberle 1Pocket - 3 runs of 15 & out

I can see from the wear marks on the cloth he's got the balls racked on the head string not the foot spot. Is that why he's making a ball on the break?

Regardless nice shooting.

ok. Just a question.
Not to knock Max, as he is a super nice guy and has obvious talents.

Can rack #1 be legit?

Whenever i've played, the balls made in insignificant holes aren't bought up till the end of the inning, OR, if you are on a run and NEED that ball, it gets spotted up at the very end when you've pocketed the last ball on the table.

I mean, i haven't even watched the 2nd and 3rd rack, but it seems that by spotting a ball early, a ball that went into the opponents hole that would not be spotted up in a normal game, that it kind of goes against the whole 15 ball run theory in one pocket.

I also don't know what rules were set up before hand, so i don't know if my question has any merit, but i was just wondering, as i have practiced this drill in the past, and if a ball went into the opponents hole, my run was over, and if it was a ball that had to be spotted, it happened at the end, just like the actual rules of one pocket.

I was just curious.

Ok, rack number 2 has the same issue as a ball went into the upper corner pocket and was spotted immediately.

As for rack #3, now THAT'S some nice shooting.

Always helps when you've got some nice music to jam to in the background.

I don't know about the break, or the ball spotting issues - I just thought some people would want to see some great shooting by an amazing player.

Tough crowd.

I got to play Max for many hours over the course of a week at Fatboy's house last month.

He is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet and a great asset to the sport.

Well, Max shoots great.
No doubt about that.

I was just wondering.
Cause even when i've seen people gamble at it as a proposition, i never saw a ball get spotted up early, or at all when the ball went into the opponents hole.

BUT, if the rules aren't universal, it's no big deal.
It's still some nice shooting.

Also got the chance to meet MAX

I also had the pleasure of meeting Max at Hollywood Billiards. One of the nicest guys you could meet and not a bad artist either. He let me win a couple of racks.

Thanks Buddy!

lol yeah no kidding. good stuff man. i apprciate it those are some awesome outs. no ball in hand after break is brutal and he does it 3 times and still gets questioned. yikes the peanut gallery is awful critical.
