Voluntary 5% to AZB.

Either you're buying his product or you are not.

In the mean time, his efforts are between himself Mike and Jerry.

Everyone else should either help or keep it quiet.

For someone who talks alot you sure know how to do alot too ;)
That's an excellent gesture John, the next time I buy one of your cases I'll haggle for a 10% discount and when you succumb I'll give you back the 5%. :D

What product; billiard industry advice? lol

I hope you realize that he just inserted that option in his last post so as to try and comply with the rules requirements.

Like I said, since there is nothing really for sale in this thread, it seems it would be better suited for another forum.

But, hey, you're the boss and if you want to turn a blind eye while the guys who are really trying to sell tangible products here get bumped down the line, well, that's your prerogative.

Best,
Brian kc

Brian it was a joke. Do you seriously think I or Dave is that stupid to think that this would get around the rules? Stop being a prude. Also there is no rule that says products have to be tangible. Ever heard of an E-book? Phone sex?

The only person bumping is you by electing to flame the thread rather than to leave it for the people it was intended for to read.

That's the funniest sh*t i've read in the long while! LOL:thumbup:

I have not been a member here for a 100 years like the rest of you but...

I think the gesture that JB made is very nice. I think he sells a quality product and I would be happy to pay an additional 5% to support the folks here at AZ Billiards.

Why is this thread here??? This is a for sale forum and threads like this are not allowed! SOME PEOPLE JUST WON'T FOLLOW THE RULES...AND THAT'S WHY CHANGE WILL COME!

I just don't get it. Try to do something nice and get bashed for it. He actually is selling something, his cases and says if you buy one he will give 5% to AZB. He is trying to help AZB what are the rest of you that are giving him a hard time doing?

Mike

Not trying to stir the pot and while there is a difference of opinon on this thread. It would be nice for us to be kind to each other in keeping with the holiday mood. True there is nothing for sale and only a suggestion was made because it involved "items for sale or to be sold". For some of us that hardly venture out of the "For Sale" section (me included) I would not have seen this thread.

That aside...the tone that I'm getting on this is that there are a few people who dislike one another and are only using this thread to air their animosity. Which is unfortunate because we all need each other to keep this thing (cue/case sales) moving forward.

Take care all...

I suggest that anyone who sells their items here, send me 2% of the final value....of their item.

It would greatly be appreciated by my son, he needs lots of toys for the holidays...

:D

Mike

He's not getting bashed for this. He's getting bashed over some perceived past hurt, its how AZ works. I know it looks silly in this thread because John's intent is pretty clearly generous so the bashing looks pretty darn stupid, but I think if instead of reading the bashers' words you instead see "Barton I'm mad at you because you hurt my feelings a while ago" it will all become clear.

Thanks

Kevin

JB,

Its great to see someone here trying to help with the problem. I do not sell much on here, I buy way too much, and what I have sold has always been for a loss but, I too will denote 5% of any of my sales to AZ billiards.

Pete

Has the idea of sponcership been discussed? Another site I belong to has different levels of sponcership to individuals who are in that particular business. Different levels of sponcership affords different levels of exposure on a site....

Not a surmon, just a thought....

Well said!

Happy Holidays! Bump for a great idea JB

Careful agreeing, you'll get added to the "flame no matter what" list and soon you will be posting that you helped an old lady across the street and these guys will be chiming in that "they figure" you had your hand on her butt.

Thanks

If he was trying to "help" with the problem, he could simply purchase a banner ad...like the rest of the advertisers on AZ. What has screwed up this forum is a multitude of dealers who post here many times a day. So much so, that the guy trying to sell his used cue (or purchase one) gets 5 mins on page one. Ozone billiards sells products here too...via banner ads. They DON'T clog this forum on a daily basis! This forum was never intended as a venue for dealers who are too cheap to buy a banner ad!

Phone sex isn't tangible? What number have you been dialing? :grin-square:

For the record, guys, JB and I do not have a problem with one another. We speak our mind with each other, but we're certainly friends.

For those who think I may be bashing him, I'm really not. Read my first post to this thread - I acknowledged that his 5% offer was a generous one - I only suggested that he consider moving the thread since there was nothing for sale.

You know, so we all wouldn't continue responding and knocking our own sales action.

Carry on.

Best,
Brian kc
