No disrespect intended, so you think I made this thing up about T.Z send me a fake tracking number ? I have no reason to make this shit up at all. I order cues across the nation with many makers, I do what I say and I say what I will do. I never delay payment on anyone or screw with people money or cues. Any maker tells me my cue is ready I will make sure they get my checks in their hand within 2 days it doesn't matter what it cost. What am I gonna do about this situation ? Are you trying to lead this conversation somewhere ? Let me tell you this, when I was growing up, my father tells me never to dip into anyone pie if it doesn't belong to me and don't ever let anyone try to dip into my, but if I decide to dip into other people's pie make sure I take everything they have and back it up with my play !!!! one of the cues i bought second hand had warped shafts. tony was surprisingly nice and offered to give me two new shafts, free of charge. i also asked him to change the wrap. it took 6 months to get that cue back. in the interim, i almost went to the police to report the cue and my money stolen as it continued to not show up after he swore he shipped the cues. when i finally got the cue back, the shafts were great, but the wrap that i paid for was in terrible shape and i had to get it re-wrapped locally and spend more money. i wrote tony back asking for a refund, but got no response. at this point i don't even care. i am just relieved that i no longer have any reason to deal with him. thankfully, the cue looks awesome with the new wrap and this is the only one i am keeping.

i am not trying to bash tony here. i think he used to do incredible work, but he does not seem very happy with cue making and so he has become sour not only on the work, but in how he deals with customers. it is almost impossible to get him on the phone and he rarely responds to emails. it is very frustrating to know that you can own such beautiful cues but their value is in question due to the reputation he has ruined. at this point, i feel it is irreparable. my buddy who owns a pool room looks at the cue i own now and says "wow. that is beautiful. what great veneers. too bad it's a zinzola."

I contacted you few months ago asking when did you order your cue with T.Z. Your order was in 1 years after my and you received your cue first and actually your cue is almost the same design as my except for the flower between the fluer De Lis, sorry to hear your f*#k up deal with Zinzola but at least you got your cue in your hand, there are many of us have our money stolen and still no cues, especially the one from Asia, Zinzola feels he don't need to live up to that because these other Asian buyer won't come across the ocean to visit him but even if they do he will try to talk his way out by giving false promises. I don't like to knock people sells but in reality Zinzola cue have a real bad secondary market, is better you just keep the cue and play with it for awhile and hopefully one day things will change. ( $1350.00 ) deposit. between the time of my first cue order I have been back to his shop/house a few times and order another cue with him which we didn't settle on the price yet for the 2nd cue.
On May 15, 2012 the well respected northeast cue maker calls me to warn me not to give Zinzola anymore money, few days later Tony Z calls me to ask for a favor telling me how he and Steve * Tikkler * have some problem and see if I can help him out with the financial issues, I ask him how much he needs and his reply was $4000.00 suppose to paid Tikkler back and implied that would cover both of my cue order. keep in mind that I already had a pre-warning from another maker not to give him any more money but I try to be nice about it and agreed to pay for my first cue in full to help him out. Zinzola send another paypal invoice on May 21, 2012 which I send him the money to paid Tikkler back, 2 weeks later I find out he didn't pay Tikkler but took the money to go on vacation with his family. another member here * Jive * is my dear friend have an order with Zinzola but Tony keep giving us all the run arounds, by end of 2012 Jive decided to cancel his order and ask for his deposit back and told Zinzola to send me the deposit, sometime around Jan 14-25 Tony send a check in the amount of $700.00 using his WIFE bank check, at first I didn't think anything wrong with it and deposit the check to find out it will bounced, Zinzola calls me on Feb 1, 2013 in the evening when I was in Arizona with 2 well respected cue maker sitting right next to me to find out it was a fake check, he gave me some B.S story about his wife used the money etc...... told him he needs to make it right and few days pasted he did deposit $730.00 after a long conversation.
Sometime around end of March, 2013 I demand an answer from Tony about my order which he ask for 3 week extension, I told him we will talk 3 weeks later and than 1 extension after another with different B.S. excuses., On May 2013 he told me the cue is done and I ask for a tracking number, this MOFO SCUMBAG went into USPS to grab a fake tracking number to send me which the package was never send out, towards the end of May 2013 I demand prove of pic's the cue is being done, Zinzola took 1 side of the buttsleeve picture to send to me as a prove by misleading me and waited couple more weeks with same B.S. excuses again, finally I had enough of his deceiving excuses one morning when directly to the airport and brought a ticket to Boston, call him 20min before arriving his house he still keeps on lying about the cue is done and ask me if I can come back the next day instead which I refused and told him I am leaving on the same day flight back to NY that when the truth came out the cue is no where near 50% done, show up at his house while his kids and wife at home, I still give his family some respect by not turning on him, went down to his shop to show me the disappointed cue as he made promise he would finish the cue and deliver by July 15, 2013 until today still nothing. As much as he claims he runs an real estate business buying and selling resturants, is all full of shit, this MOFO wants to take people money and thinks is okay because he thinks we cue buyer or collector owe it to him.
Now, I know some of you gonna try to defend this scumbag by saying there always 2 or 3 side to the story, which I don't give a F*#K about, this is my side of the story, I have all the paypal prove and all the text message prove along with the fake tracking number and misleading pic's.

take a deep breath. regardless of what relationship he has w/ tony, at least he's trying to prompt some sort of movement towards resolution, if in fact that PM is from tony or someone related to this situation, as opposed to getting his panties in a knot.

I just want my cue like everyone else in here, just want to be sure all this info is true before I make my next move..I have no relationship with Tony other than customer.
 
he owes me a cue too for over 2 years. he told me to send the money cuz it's a week or two away from being done. this was in march 2011. still dont have it, sent him another email yesterday but he's not answering my emails either so we'll see how it goes.
 
I posted a good friends Zinzola here on the forum a while back. The reason he sold it was because there was a slight wobble in the shaft the day it arrived. Zinzola promised him a new shaft for months and months. After close to a year the buyer calls Tony back and asked about the shaft. He kept telling him it would ship next week blah blah. Zinzola finally stop returning messages and would not communicate with the buyer AT ALL. Well a few months after that he asked me to list his cue for him on here. I listed it that morning for him and by lunchtime what do you know? Zinzola returns a call to the owner playing dumb and told him he was sorry that he hasn't returned the call over the past few MONTHS and just wanted to make sure he still had the cue that he was to send the shaft out. Lmao. What a joke. He waits until he sees the post basically and then follows up with his keen customer service playing like he hasn't seen the post that he was sending the shaft right away. He even had the nerve to tell him that I had the cue listed too low after he was told that it was listed on AZ (which Tony already knew) With pi$$ poor customer service like this what would be too low? Tony was hoping that he would tell him not to worry about it now I am selling the cue. He told him that he was still going to send the shaft the next day and here at it another half of a year later and......no shaft. This guy is a piece of work. So he lurks AZ because he calls the DAY the cue was listed. He is probably reading all of the posts now but I would be willing to bet he doesn't post to try to explain himself because he is that sorry.
The buyer told me how I needed to get a cue from him and how he always answered or called back within 10 minutes. It was all praise and good of course until Zinzola got the money. Then the true scum comes out.
 
It never ceases to amaze me how irresponsible some people can be, not to mention unscrupulous as well. Especially so when someone has earned a reputation for making excellent cues. All down the drain now. I suspect his life looks the same way, sad and miserable. Karma is a mother fvcker!
 
Not sure what happened? The dealings I have had with Tony went well. Hopefully he can make this right with all of his customers.

Don't get me wrong, i feel very fortunate to have actually received my cues. i know there are a number of people out there who are out serious $$$. i have already sold all of his cues, except for one and every one went for seriously less money than they cost. but i am ok with that. i just had too much of a bad taste in my mouth. i am keeping the one i have now because it is the only cue i own, so i need to play with something. plus it does look awesome. however, i am due to get my Hercek next spring, so i may end up selling the cue when i do. and it is truly amazing to see the difference when dealing with tony than with joel. to say it's night and day is an understatement.

and as far as the whole fake tracking thing goes, i know tony can print out the tracking paperwork from home, so it is no difficult task to give you a real tracking number, but not ship anything. i have a feeling that that is not an uncommon practice. the cue where he changed the wrap, he told me it was ready and i should send him the money. i told him that after the way things went with my first cue, i would send him the money only after i received this one. of course he said "well then it will be waiting here for you if you want to come and pick it up". i did not want to drive the 5 hours, so i relented and paypal'ed him the money. he sent me a tracking number 5 minutes later, but i did not get the cue for 5 weeks. not until i was ready to go to the police did i get a response from him and a new tracking number.
 
i am amazed to hear of all of the difficulties and heartache caused by TZ. i heard some talk in the past, but not to the extent exposed here in this thread.

at the same time i think i should mention that pretty much everybody kept to the facts as they know them and made excellent, well written points and kept it factual and not mob like.

i don't know if i should add this but i will:
TZ, maybe this thread will help you and be a blessing and help crystallize your thinking.

once upon a time i had a huge financial loss, i lost everything and then even my wife and what kept me on track [as difficult as it was] was my little daughter. i couldn't let her down. and secondly, look at all the folks that put trust in you.

don't let your family down and don't let your customers/friends down.

Sorry to see you and all the others get screw by this scum. I was glad you posted the original cue, that alone told me to stay away from this guy. When I started out I saw a good looking cue from someone new and ordered one. The name was Eason cues. It looked great but in 3 months it turned in to a snake,the tip fell off then the ring on the shaft fell off.The funny thing is the shaft is dead straight (he must have bought it). He would not return any calls. I chalked it up as another learning experience. I use it as a $450 bridge now to remind me.This guy Zinola should run for president,they have the same personality.Keep coming up with more ways to take our money then Lie Lie Lie and blame something else, then go on vacation.

yes, l did my deal direct with tony, however, he said he had to get the cue back from Troy (az member Koinkid) who had it to sell for tony.

the cue was new, unchalked, and simply horrible.
