Alton...
i admire your work a lot, and i never knew you were Japanese. from a Japanese point if view [one of my wives was Japanese] i can understand your thinking and i am sure it is with the best intention.
but we all live with each other in a world where treatment to another is paramount. i have been to Japan more times than i can count on my fingers and from my life's experiences, Japan as a country, as a people is one of great honor, and great respect is always offered to others. further, even when a Japanese person is disrespected they will not return that disrespect. to an American like me, i marvel at that ability.
i, like you and i am sure Tik and wawa and others, waited and hoped and wished that TZ would do the 'honorable' thing and 'honor "at least his family", if not himself. but with the passing of time, imho [unless he contacts everybody immediately] Tik and others are doing what 'should be done'.
TZ has crossed the line himself and has provided to his family money that was not his to provide. the shame and heartache his family will endure [as you well advised] imo can not be stopped now and it should not be.
as a man of Japanese origin i am sure you know "Akusai wa hyaku-nen no fusaku" and in reverse, 'a bad husband is the ruin of his wife'; or somewhat closely translated.
just for example let me say this; i have helped folks in trouble, and in times of my troubles, folks have helped me. there is an Irish song that said something to the effect: "we all live in the arms of others". just like here in AZB. we trust each other. and without that 'trust' were would we be, where would the world be?
Tik was very patient, as wawa and everybody [i am sri i don't remember everybody's name] was.
i believe from reading all the posts in this thread that most do not believe that there will be a fruitful resolution. i believe that Tik is handling this properly. and by dong that, it may in the future help limit other abuses we have suffered with 'deadbeat' AZB'ers.
maybe we should if possible contribute to a fund for this to help Tik pay for the fees involved. i will gladly.
i guess this also brings a feeling of shame to you Alton as a Japanese you think of
TZ's wife and his wife's parents and children. i can only say, sri but imho it has to be.
all the best,
smokey
Hi Steve,
I know it's none of my business.
I was very hesitant to post, and, I know I put myself at risk to be hated.
And, I don't mean you or anybody no harm or disrespect.
Just a thought I am frustrated with..
When you do take legal action, Tony's wife will find out.
I know you and the others have money involved, and, you guys deserve to get it back..
I can only see one way out for Tony.
His In -laws are real Japanese.
They will, like most real Japanese, offer to pay the money for Tony to "Bail Him out".
Because of the Shame that it will bring his Children and his wife, who, is, their loving daughter.
Japanese have so much honor, some even commit suicide for their disgrace.
They would do all to protect their loved ones.
Can you imagine, his in-laws are old, and probably don't have income..
They will give up their life's savings to help/protect their Daughter, indirectly, helping Tony "Swim out" at their expense..
I wanted to post this so all the forum can see how much more depth Tony has brought about, hurting many innocent people that had nothing to do with his actions. How tragic and infuriating this would be..
I have nothing to gain and have no business in his actions.
I just sit back and worry for his Wife, children and in-laws , as, " The ones who loves him the most, will be hurt the most....."
MY Heart grieves for the innocent...
