Was this the "Dumping of the 90's? Mike Lebron 1990's Challenge of Champions

I was reading about this match but no video.......So I looked and found this video.......There looks like there was a little dumping (or was [it] nerves?) you decide!!!!!

Thanks for posting the video, xxxbilliards.

After watching the last few racks of this match I am convinced there was NO dumping.
Granted, Buddy missed quite a few easy approaches, but then so did Mike Lebron.

Considering that first place was $50,000,
(adjusted for ~87% total inflation would be around $87,000 today)
nerves seem to have gotten the best of both players.

How nervous would any of you had been had you played that last rack for $87,000?

Dude, there are 2 threads on this exact topic on page 1, and this video is posted multiple times in both.

The Mirage booked action on this tournament and Lebron was the longest shot at 18-1.
There was a lot of money bet on him. You make the call.

Wasn't it 180 to 1?

That's the odds I got, 180 - 1. When I heard that! I paid to bring in 9 friends and we all bet $200 on LeBron. After expenses, I split 40/60 with my fellow criminals and cleared enough to retire in a life telling everyone on AZB just how smart and kool I am.

Buddy told me about "Smart Phones" coming in the future

Those were the days......I bet $1000 and won $180,000 - been living off the interest after investing it all in these silly things called "SMART PHONES".......who would have guessed, when Buddy told me about "Smart Phones" coming in the future I though he was crazy.......but, what the heck, I invested it all anyway and I'm SOOOOO glad I did. :D

I heard from a friend that knew someone, that knew a friend of a friend - that all but one of the COC's invested into the Cricket phone. Not the Smart phone. :grin-square:

Thanks, bud, I'm glad you've still have all my "younger pictures". Mom says "hi" by the way, and please send more pasties when you get back to Toronto.
