Watchez cue?

I haven't been able to get to the forums from work for the past couple months, so I'm not exactly up-to-date, but I'm back now. I wanted to make sure I didn't miss anything.

Did watchez ever build a cue like he said he would? When I lost access from work he was already way overdue, but one of the cuemakers on the forum had already sent him supplies to get started. Was there any progress?

That's not watchez building a cue, that's him coordinating with a professional cuemaker to build him a sweet butterfly. I searched but didn't find anything within the first 5 pages... and I'm not about to browse through the other 995 pages.

Glad you asked - I just spent last weekend hanging out with Mike Bender, Doug Patrick, Travis Niklich, Andy Gilbert and Jim Buss in regards to this. I ordered the glue to be used in the cue from Malawi, a small country in Africa, and have still yet to receive it. I was going to switch glue but all 5 of these cuemakers begged me to wait til it is received. I got some other great ideas from them as well. Jim Buss thinks I might have a cue in the Smithsonian someday as well.

Hierovision - my suggestion to you is to try to find a better job or a second job so you can afford a computer and the internet at home or at least parked out in front of your neighbor's house and steal his WiFi. I hear Walmart is hiring and with the extra money you earn you wouldn't have to be away for so long.

BTW - I designed both customs I have - I guess I should have spent the time making my cue instead of designing for others but I figured it was more important to get a cue from a real cue maker than to imitate myself to be a cue builder.

hahahaha :) I hope you build it, and I hope it's great. I actually got tired of AZ's same old routine so I stopped reading the forums for a while. After I came back, I felt like seeing some more AZer cues since 1pRoscoe built a couple last month, and remembered you were supposed to build one ;)

He built two in one month?!?!?! and I haven't found the time to build one in over a year? and Dennis Searing has a waiting list 12 years long????

Sounds like me and Dennis need to give this 1pRoscoe a call and find out what he is doing differently.

p.s. Glad you are back. Give me some new subject matter and I'll fire up some threads for you.

Yes, he built two complete cues from tree and iron ore to finished product in less than 1 month. That's exactly what I meant! He is pretty amazing.

The only thread I want to see from you is posting your finished cue :p Politically correct posters make me nauseous.

Sorry for the delay, I just saw this thread...

Yes, I cut down 3 different trees on May 1st and did final polish on May 28th. I'd love to share my secrets with Dennis, but I think that would ruin my competitive edge.
