Watching Pinegar vs Pastura

I've been around him more than once both in action and in tournaments. Have you? Seeing Vitaly 3-foul him back-to-back was priceless. Surprised he didn't break his cue or kick the nearest dog.
I never understand how folks that act like that don't get punched in the mouth at some point.

Funny you say that. I talked to a guy who was at a tourn. in early-mid 00's where Henny made a couple comments about Sparky Ferrell's gf/wife. Sparky told JH to be respectful and then after hearing Henny do it again knocked his ass out. Guy can flat play but is a complete ass at times.

Thanks. Was wondering how that doesn't happen. I mean Hennessy isn't exactly built like Rodney Morris or anything.

I remember seeing a monster shot from Pinegar in a bar table match I believe. His opponent played a strong safety putting cueball behind two balls and close too, object ball was maybe 2 feet from cue ball. Pinegar dart-jumped over the two balls hit his ball and drew the cue ball behind the two balls he was hooked by and sent the object ball down table. Pretty awesome shot, since then I watch him play to see his pool knowledge come out.

But man that was hard to watch him try to play that match. It took only the first 5-7 games for me to realize he was outclassed on the table and I thought Pastura was slowing down to not kill any future action very early. I'm sure Pinegar can still match up with world class players in shorter races but he was giving back so many games late first day and second day.

There are better younger american players that deserve to be backed like this and in response to bashing, I think shitty behaviour should be called out any time. People in the pool world are starting to realize that being an asshole in the poolroom is why the game doesnt get any respect in sports. You can see it changing in the new breed of players though and I am glad to see shit behaviour becoming a thing of the past.

he played great at the DCC. probably the biggest surprise aside from efrens run

The break made the difference in that match from what I could watch of it.

Yep. Albeit, Pinegar did not shoot close to his rating, I think he got frustrated.
When Vitaliy finished a rack, he had maybe a 1:4 or better, chance of a B&R in the following rack.
Pinegar broke open or scratched on most of his breaks, making positive momentum impossible.
When he ran out a rack, he gave bih or an open table to Vitaliy in the following rack.
I've been there and it sucks. (at a much lower level obviously)
I've heard the 10B break has always been a weakness for Pinegar.
They should run it back at 9ball imo.

Watching Pinegar, wow I get tired. He plays great. A country man player. But boy his routine is something. I used love watching Monk, the TV detective.
Johnathan's shot:
Walk around a couple of times, Chalk up, chalk, chalk and chalk. Get down. , Get up, did I chalk? Chalk, chalk chalk. Walk around , chalk, chalk chalk.
Boy I am tired watching.

He is such a jerk, every time I have seen him. I only watch to root against him, and that's no way to be.

I watched about a dozen games myself.
Patsura is a more complete player than Pinegar.
10-ball is a game that exposes the deficiencies of even the most skilled players.
Patsura actually "let up" for most of the match, then pulled away at will at the end.
Pinegar was never a threat-- should've played 9-ball, would've had a better chance imo.
