Very cool pictures Berny. Those are incredible, do you use a light box? I recently bought one and will be getting a new Dave Barenbrugge 4 point cocobolo player in a couple of weeks from Martin and cannot wait to try taking what I hope are better pictures.

Thanks for sharing.

Absolutely beautiful... A Tascarella hoppe is one of the purest forms of functional art in the cue world...love it!!! A must have in any serious collection...

CUE WAS BUILT, AND THAT TYPE OF INSERT WAS USED AS AN EXPERIMENT. IT WAS PETE JR'S PLAYING CUE, AND IS THE ONLY IVORY PILOTED CUE I'VE SEEN WITHOUT THE METAL COLLET IN THE JOINT. THE GINKY WRAPLESS MIGHT NOT HAVE HAD IT EITHER, BUT I'M THINKING THE JOINT ON HIS CUE WAS GRAINED PHENOLIC.
