What do the Top Players in the World AIM at?

I'm a new poster and I just received my first PM! (This is not a joke--this is a real PM). It's from a certain humorless poster:
"Sir,person, whatever you are what ever rock you crawled from under; You are a out n out BOLD FACE LIAR, you form this username (GETMETHERE) NEVER SENT me(mr3cushion) a private message of any kind. And I will PUBLICLY show MY (mr3cushion) private messages for the date which is today, to reveal to ALL that you Sir are a BOLD FACE LIAR, just with your very first post. RECANT the statemant, or I WILL reveal my private messages for TODAY 09/27/10, I have NONE, so ALL will see the LIAR you are.

So...shame-faced (and I guess, bold-faced or bald-faced) I'll have to fess up: I admit it, I never sent Mr.3Cushion a PM. I'll stand by my posted comment though: A REAL TOP player doesn't NEED to aim. I think my diagram shows that clearly.

So now *I* get a PM from Bill and it goes:
"Lou, I'm really glad you picked up the slack when I dropped the ball on this thread. I was out of line with the name calling and trying to limit responses to those just from top players. What I've seen in this thread is the error of my ways and that there are many, many knowledgeable posters here on AZ, at all levels of play. I am such a douche bag. Now, after I've cut my nose off to spite my face, I can't post here in the main forum and can only follow the threads from afar. I blew it and need to change my ways. Or else he thinks your alleged PM is so nice that he KNOWS nobody would BEGIN to believe he really wrote it--and sees no need to correct you about it :grin:
I was looking up some aiming threads and came across this one. I opened this can of worms and thumbed though as many gut wrenching posts as I could before throwing up my hands. There are some intelligent posts in here, but I just want to add something.
The first mistake Bill made was not taking the time to 'get to know AZ' for what it is, assuming that he might get the answers he was looking for. Simply put, he asked the wrong question in the wrong place. If I were him, and I was such a top player, why not call your fellow top players on the phone?
The second mistake Bill made was the same mistake another person made when asking about Blue Diamond chalk requesting that only Top players need answer and give their opinion. That one turned out well. Kinda like this thread.

Thanks for asking. I will answer as this is the first and only time that my opinion on something has been, or ever will be again, solicited.
ESIAHBA-Every Shot Is A Half Ball Aim. Unless it isn't. Minor adjustments are required.
Exceptions are Full Ball shots(straight-in's) that I hit with 1 tip low/1tip left(to avoid the dreaded SKID) with BHE jacked up 30 degrees with a 'spearing-cue throwing, slipping stroke full release motion', that for some reason seem to throw or spin the ob out of the pocket while the cb does a beautiful hop, skip, slide- delayed draw. I'm not too concerned about missing the shot as long as the cb does this cool sh!t. Besides-when you miss this bad early in the rack-often you inadvertently hide the opponent-which is priceless. If you pull this off 2-3 racks in a row-while asking- 'where dat 9ball?', then you pretty much got em tilted.
The other exception(nearly always) is the 91 degree cut- where you have to jump the cueball with high outside to land on the farside of the ob to get that 'gear effect' throw action working. Long distance jump-cuts are tougher, for sure-but sometimes- you gotta go. Works better if you only have to jump 11-13 inches over a ball and land on the ob. You just kinda 'see the shot' after 2-3000 misses. This game aint easy.
