I think you suck donkey balls. Seriously, that stuff is horrible. It gives you gohnaherpasyphilaiditis of the kanagas just by touching it. I'm here for you, buddy. Put on some rubber gloves & a full face mask. Package it up & send it to me. I'll cover shipping as i'm sure you'll need to save your money for the new disease treatment. I'll dispose of this nasty stuff for you. That's how nice I am.

Hey Chris
I`m sending over my ''QA Inspector.''
He`ll know what wood it is, I hope.
That`s some nasty looking wood.

Hey Chris, looks like Mexican cocobolo. Did you pick it up locally? A craigslist.org find? Did you ever do anything with that nice brownish amboyna burl we split a few years ago? Here's what it looks like in a cue:

Looks good Martin. I am still waiting for the right project to use the burl on. It is a fantastic piece.
The wood came from brazil. It is reclaimed from barn timbers. Has a nice sweet smell when cut:grin:

Great Chris. Either Brazilian or Amazon RW. The Brazilian billet and pieces I have came from a crate that transported a young engineer's stuff from Brazil when he came to work in the USA in 1950 (so the story goes). He retired about 2 years ago and sold the stash of Brazilian along with some insane curly purnambuco to Mitch at Tropical Exotic Hardwoods in Carlsbad.

Was the wood already in this country? Looks like you'll have enough to last a while:grin-square:
