I read Dean state in one of his posts that Jack was just finishing up a new batch of Jackpot cues. He made it very clear that Jack Potter was the person who was building the Jackpot cues. Turns out that Schmelke built 100% of all of those Jackpot cues, and not just the Blanks for them. Schmelke built the entire cue.
I understand that Schmelke has built blanks for many cue makers, but it was those cue makers that finished the cues off, and built their own shafts for them. They are / were true customs, but made with Schmelke Blanks, which is very different then what Dean was selling, which were "No Logo" Schmelke made cues, that Jack Potter may have designed. He had no part in building them though, which is what Dean stated (that he did), maybe more then once.
