What happened to the carom aiming thread?

NOOOOOOOOOOOO! Wth is going on!? Every thread gets deleted now? Last I saw before logging off the thread was fairly civil and informative, now it's gone. Guess we're not supposed to know how to aim caroms, then.

It has come to us now, my good friends. Political correctness. How we truly feel about a subject is of no consequence unless we can profess that feeling with the appropriate words as dictated (do you see the irony here) by the system.
Lutz, you and Ideologist (more irony?) no longer belong in the same pool world as I do. Shalom.

Well maybe you can start a drive to get me permanently banned from exercising my freedom of speech.

Or, just as a suggestion, when someone uses a word with no ill intent, such as is defined by dictionary.com as:

Nazi
[naht-see, nat-]

Examples
Word Origin

noun, plural Nazis.
1.a member of the National Socialist German Workers' Party, which controlled Germany from 1933 to 1945 under Adolf Hitler and advocated totalitarian government, territorial expansion, anti-Semitism, and Aryan supremacy, all these leading directly to World War II and the Holocaust.
2.(often lowercase) a person elsewhere who holds similar views.
3.(often lowercase) Sometimes Offensive. a person who is fanatically dedicated to or seeks to regulate a specified activity, practice, etc.:
a jazz nazi who disdains other forms of music; health nazis trying to ban junk food.

Maybe, just maybe you should not get so offended at someone else exercising their freedom of speech.

Just a thought.

if you cant understand why someone would be offended by you using the word nazi
maybe you need sensitivity training yourself
starting with a conversation with a survivor of a concentration camp
jmho

It was a poor choice of words but it wasn't politics related, it was used as an adjective to describe people who are obsessed with a particular thing.

What interests me about this is people focus on something which happened 70 years ago but are disinterested in the genocide currently taking place in Yemen, Iraq, Syria, Libya etc where millions of people have been subjected to the horrors of the islamic state. It is happening on a smaller scale in the United States and it has nothing to do with nazis.

I'm betting it wasn't just the word Nazi, but the phrase "Aiming Nazis". After living through the Aiming Holocaust and being shipped off to the Aiming Concentration Camp... er, Conversation Forum, they're understandably a little sensitive.

pj <- Aiming Jew

Is there any manhood left on this planet? Do we all have to start wearing panties now?
Unbelievable!

^^^ Very well stated. Apparently I also would benefit from sensitivity training.
All this crap about everyone being insulted or offended by what seems like every other word in Websters dictionary.
If people are insulted or offended by a word somebody said it is because they choose to be. You do not need to be offended or insulted by what other people say. Why must everyone suffer because of 1 persons choice????
Maybe this all started with the "trophies for everybody" thing. You know, the generation that wont give trophies only to the winners because they do not want anyone to think they are a loser for not getting a trophy. Let me know how that works out for them when they become adults and they find out you do not get a coveted job just because you show up for an interview, rather that job goes to someone who may perform better than you. Do they give out trophies to those who do not get the job they apply for???
