What if a ball from another table lands on your table and disturbs the balls?

1.9 Outside Interference
When outside interference occurs during a shot that has an effect on the outcome of that shot, the referee will restore the balls to the positions they had before the shot, and the shot will be replayed. If the interference had no effect on the shot, the referee will restore the disturbed balls and play will continue. If the balls cannot be restored to their original positions, the situation is handled like a stalemate.

I was playing a guy one pocket and he had me in a trap and there was no way out - I was in handcuffs locked up in solitary confinement. I was praying to the pool gods for a miracle when, blam, the cue ball, from an over ambitious 9bal break on the next table, came crashing into the balls on my table and totally rearranged the furniture. There was no way to restore anything and we had to replay the game.
 
Extra balls

Many years ago at the Crystal Palace in Vegas, (1980?) During a $300 one pocket game , Rex Cannon playing, A very upset billiard player two tables over , playing for $10 , threw the billiard balls and one landed on a table next to Rex's table and one landed on Rex's table. Rex was running out and only needed 2. Table was totally messed. Billiard player said "Sorry", and walked out. Rex must have stood there for 5 minutes in amazement after watching him walk out. RErack!

Mosconi used to do a trick shot from one table to the next and make 6 bals one in each pocket !

The proper thing to do is apologize to the players on the other table and tell them you are very sorry that your table was in their way ! hehehaha of course
 
I had a friend of mine do that once. We were playing on barboxes that were a little too close together, and he smashed the break and sent the cueball off the table. It hit the floor, bounced right up on to the table next to us and knocked the 8 ball dead into the side pocket. Fortunately it was free pool so it didn't cost anything to spot the 8. One of the funniest things I've ever seen though.

Which brings up another question: If you break and end up making the 8 ball on the table next to you, is that a win?

At one pocket, I think it is fair to replay the game if you really can't restore the position, but it's also fair to keep the score from the rack so it might start at 6-2. Same player breaks.

Never thought of that..it seems very fair.

What would we do without you?..play 'bar' rules?
