Just out of curiousity, how does that firm determine the age of AZB posters? I wonder what percentage of posters actually list their birth dates in their profile?

I was actually thinking the same thing. Great minds think alike.

I see a lot of political polls from time to time in my line of work, and most do provide the polls with an estimated percentage, plus or minus its margin of error, as a confidence interval for the percentage. How statistically significant they are, one truly has no way of knowing.

Kind of the same thing with FDA clinical trials. You target a certain portion of the population, but how statistically significant is it with the population as a whole when it comes to the pharmaceutical?

I would venture to guess that the Quantcast stats for AzBilliards has a plus or minus ratio of 5 percentage points. Just a guess.

Judging by most of the posts I'd say right around 12 years old.

12% are 55-64
6% are over 65.

Those demographics actually skew much younger than I thought. I'm 30 and a lot of time I feel like one of the only people posting under 40 years old. I would guess that the demographics on active posters skew a bit older, but I could be wrong.
