What is the best playing cue you own?

Man that is tough to say.

Currently I am using an ebony Scruggs that plays and feels fantastic. However my Klein, Murrell, Kilby and Dieckman cues are to die for as well.

I change between my Carmeli with an OB-1 shaft and my Sigel with a Z shaft. The Sigel is a tad heavier.

I'd say my Rick Howard sneaky. It's just the most comfortable cue I have to pocket balls. Doesn't deflect much for a standard shaft and I can execute most shots easily. I think Rick's taper has a lot to do with it.

The only cue I currently own that I would never consider selling is a beautiful bocote/BEM that Anrot built for me a few months ago. I've bought a few cues since I got that one, including a very solid-playing Varney and a Paul Sumrall which has a wonderful feel and hit. But the Arnot cue is the most comfortable I've ever owned. For whatever reason, it just fits me. I've heard others say they had a cue that was "like an extension of my arm." Now I understand what they mean by that.

any pics??????

I shoot with a Sherm Adamson and love it.. have had several Schons and i like the Sherm better.

My Josey, been my regular player for over ten years now. Original shaft plus a spare shaft Keith made for me.

#2. Original Corsair made by Hank.
#3. Ned Morris cue.

I just got a Josey Sneaky Pete about a month ago. It's a beautiful cue and plays great. Keith Josey does some awesome work. I love that cue. I'm having Keith make another shaft for me now. I can shoot certain stroke shots with that cue that I couldn't execute with the production cue I was using before

I've been playing with the same Schon for about nineteen years. Have yet to find something that feels better. Modified by Evan Clark many years ago to a "wrapless" design.

Interesting. Did he clear coat over the wrap or replace the handle with a new piece of wood?

Favorite

Favorite shooter is full splice Raven SP, Coco and curly maple with G-10 joint, pro-taper and Everest Tip. Hits like breaking a glass rod.

Schon..

I have a Schon cx 16 that hits them sweet and a schon ltd 240 I think that hits them pretty good..

It was my understanding he removed the original wrap, installed an epoxy impregnated linen wrap and re-cleared over the entire butt. Schon now has a line of BW cues built the same way. Hope mine was the prototype. The smooth wrap was the one thing about the Meucci cue I'd been playing with I really loved! Thanks Evan.
