What is the best playing cue you own?

Its been a while back, when a retired engineer,John NImick made me the cue that I sold as a DEANO cue,at the time I made some outrageous claims about how good it was and how it improved my game,

It is by far the very best cue I have ever hit,John Nimick made me a Prather blank full splice that looks like a Titleist that is different but also a great playing cue

I am going to give you John Nimicks phone 214 5778759 in Dallas. He is not making fancy cues yet but in my opinion his cues play the best,if all you want at this time is the best hitting cue in the world call him

Also his Prather blank cues look as goog as any cuemakers in the world.

Honestly I am not making a cent, but John can make you a great cue under $1000 and you will be happy with it

My best cue was an ariel carmeli ebony sneaky wish I would not have sold it.
My current playing cue is not to shabby it is a wrapless ebony mike stacy

I've had or played many great cues, but for the last 45 years when it mattered it has always been a Ginacue in my hand.

From my small collection, the best playing cue is my McDaniel Q88.
My Ariel Carmeli is coming close at second, this is my daily player.

I really enjoyed my first cue, it was a solid players cue. But... I love my new cue.. One of a kind custom Joss, with a predator 314 original shaft no collar.. Hits like a dream!

I would have to say my Bluegrass, it's perfect in every way. Fit, Finish, wood, and it happens to plays jam up. too bad I suck

The only cue I currently own that I would never consider selling is a beautiful bocote/BEM that Anrot built for me a few months ago. I've bought a few cues since I got that one, including a very solid-playing Varney and a Paul Sumrall which has a wonderful feel and hit. But the Arnot cue is the most comfortable I've ever owned. For whatever reason, it just fits me. I've heard others say they had a cue that was "like an extension of my arm." Now I understand what they mean by that.

I like all of my current collection alot,

But if you see my money in action, I WILL be playing with my Bluegrass (richard harris)

Schon STL 13 with either a 314 or a Z2, depending on wat i wanna play with that day. I like the Z2 for the most part but sometimes i like the taper of the 314

My Josey, been my regular player for over ten years now. Original shaft plus a spare shaft Keith made for me.

#2. Original Corsair made by Hank.
#3. Ned Morris cue.

Agreed on the Josey...only mine came with 2 shafts

My backup is a Jacoby...have 2 shafts there. Original, and a Tiger X.

But really, love my Josey cue. Jay, I'll bet we could change cues & not notice a difference in feel. I've played with other Josey cues, and that's what I've found...amazingly consistent.

Best hitting cue I own is my Scruggs, but then again it's 26 years old and the wood is totally settled. Most comfortable cue I own is my Jim White. Jim made it to my specs and my height and it just feels great. Plays really well too, don't get me wrong, but that Scruggs of mine has an awesome hit to it.
MULLY

After playing with many different cues, my search is over and has been for 10 yrs or so. I love the way my schon hits (early 90's model) w/original shaft. Lately I've been using a scruggs shaft b/c I left my original schon shaft in another state by accident lol. I'm kinda liking the way the scruggs shaft hits! I might just stay with it.

I'll start it, it's my Schon SL-5 with the Schon IV shaft.

Mine is a Titlist Conversion that I made for my self. Now I don't know if it is because I made it or because it is really a great hitting cue but I have never found one better.;)
