Mr. Wilson relax, my earlier post wasn't attacking you or AZB. However, I thought your wording made certain implications. That may not have been your intent, but I think it was the effect of the post.

i found the link to RSB ...LOL still the same ..i have tried to understand for the past 2 years but cannot figure out Fast Larry ..why would a grown person/adult act the way he does ? why would he as a supposed businessman act so childish ? does he think this will bring in customers ? he was and still is a very good player ..he has greatly tarnished his ability to be a serious instructor.......
It's very hard to read without a filter. If you filter out Fast Larry and all his aliases, and the people who came over with him, and that guy that recently got banned from here, it's tolerable. One problem is that as long as Larry is there, it's unlikely new people will join because of exactly your experience. Try looking back two years or so in RSB, and as long as you skip the obnoxious idiots who would rather flame than inform, it wasn't bad.bobroberts said:

He seems to be going through an anti-Japanese phase. As to why Larry is attacking a new pool discussion site, I think that's obvious.
The way I see it, people setting at home or in thier office, the net is an easy way to lash out, for thier own insucrurites.. I have found that I myself am differnt. I am exactly the same person on the net or off.. maybe this is my greatest setback, I admitt, Im pretty straightforward, alot of the time.
I tried to share my ideas on forum once, and it seemed there was always some jerk who just had to question every word I said, eventualy, due to the "drama" I deleted every word, every diagram everything, only a good friend of mine retained anything of value or at least valueable to me.. The plain truth is, if you want to express an idea, write a book, make a video for heavens sake do not try to share stuff on these forums.. nothing youd really stand for anyways...
Thats why Im on the bandwagon, I agree with everyone, anything, even if I do disagree I will do it oooooooo... So suttle.. The plain truth, this game is so complex but it seems so simple, the simple part of the game, now this is what everyone wants to talk about, when you try explaining the complex, this is when trouble starts, people know the simple inside and out, and I suppose The fear of feeling less inteligent Drives people to utterly destroy your very nature.. Satisfaction will only come untill you attend the bash. When they feel your on thier level then hey, a means to an end can come.. Otherwise, youd spend your whole life defending yourself..lol

This is an opinion, this is what I think some bashing situations envolve, useualy though people attack others for no apparent reason, apparently recognition is at stake..
I like it when people bash the pro's, you know good and well if that perticular pro showed up at your door step wanting an explaination they would turn to puddy... welll... never never land is a bit much for me these days, so if you have something out of the way to say to me, you'll proboly have to wait, I have to work, find time for the game, and my love life is definately more important than a bash...

It is not his style so much as the fact that he goes back and forth with Fast Larry. RSB has always been contientious and we are use to and often enjoy argumentative people. The only hope RSB has of ever getting rid of FL is by ignoring him. When people respond to him for sport or whatever reason as does DM, it just encourages him to post more, further diminishing the vitality of RSB.
I don't think you were around RSB before the arrival of the "disease" as some people call him. It was a very good NG with some very knowledgable people and some lively debates.

Ok Fred, point taken. I didn't know because I don't go to many fourms anymore. I don't see the abuse because I don't go there. The only forums I go to anymore is AZ and I stopped going to the CCB forums after Chris passed away. The under the rock comment wasn't necessary Fred, it really wasn't. Mabey I'm being too sensitive over some small stuff, but I personally don't think all of that was necessary. All you had to say was he that he abuses the fourms he goes too and gets banned because of it...period.

Fast Larry is a first rate lunatic, and you said you were becoming a fan of his. So, you must have read his drivel. It is a complete shock that anyone who has read his stuff would ever become a fan of his. That's why I responded as such.
And yes, if you thought I was "coming after you" by wondering if you've been living under a rock, then I do indeed believe you are being a little too thin-skinned. If I called you a raving lunatic wannabe, then I'd be "coming after you."
