5Maybe a 30/30 cue would have been a better choice. Any preference on longer cues having equal parts for anyone?
30/30 is what my cuemaker recommended.

I have two such cues. One is an ebony SP from Bob Frey, which is my current favorite player.

My cue is about as long as a cue is supposed to be, I guess. :)

58 inches, I'm 73 inches tall, but I notice that I play better when I hold the cue closer to the butt. (Depending on the shot, of course)

58" cue, and I'm 6'2". I am thinking about going longer seeing as how I grip right the butt, we'll see.

6 foot tall, 62 inch custom cue ;)

The snooker players used to say the cue should be level with your shoulder when held in a upright postion.

Interesting.
Perhaps I should give my 62 inch cue more play and see if it changes my game at all.
Of course it comes up to my nose and not my shoulder. I could poke an eye out!!

I use a 60" Viking with an OB-1 shaft and a 58" Cuetec R-360 with a 6" extention when needed. I'm 5' 6". Johnnyt

I'm 6' 3 1/2" tall.....my first cue was 53" (carom length) and worked fine. My current cue is 58" and works perfect cause I have the weight centered at 14 1/2" from butt.

I have noticed no consistant or common rhyme or reason as to what length cue people select. There are short people who use 60" cues for the extended range it gives and tall people with shorter cues who can reach any shot.
