it is not about height.got to go by wingspan.wrist to wrist.one person can be 6,6 and another 6,0.but their span might be the same.big differance with shoulder widths.

58 and 6'3"

I grip about right in the middle of the wrap(I think, I slip to get my stroke right, so I'm never exactly sure) and my chin is about 6" to 1 ft off the cue.

Right now I'm shooting with a 58"...
6'2" with long arms :D...and big feet...;) , and shoot just fine with a 58"...but I do adjust my hand from the linen to the butt depending on the shot. I've recently ordered a custom 60" because I believe it will fit me better...or feel more natural... We'll see once it's finished

58 inch or 58.5 inch cue and 73.5 inches tall. I tried using longer cues for a while, up to about 61 inches, mostly standard cues with longer shafts. It was sort of nice stretching out and still having my hand on the wrap but it just didnt' quite feel right to me for some strange reason. Maybe a 30/30 cue would have been a better choice. Any preference on longer cues having equal parts for anyone?

5'8"

Generally 58.5".
However I have a conversion by Dennis Deikman that is 62 inches which plays wonderfully.

Not sure why its 62 inches long. However I dont question the D man. :D

Most all of my playing cues are 58"

I'm 5'8"

But the most comfortable shooting cue I ever used was 57 1/2"

The first cue I made about 6 years ago or so was 54 3/4" long....thats where I would usually hold my cue at that length so I built one at that length....it broke and jumped really well and was a beast on the bar box and in banking....but I didn't like it on the big table as I had to drop my elbow with it all the time and way too much....some one stole that cue anyways.

I've used a few 60" cues and I can't stand them....its not and will not ever be for me....tho I did have a 59" cue that was a really great cue.

59" and im only 5ft 6. But I couldnt pass up the deal I got. Ive always shot with 58" cues. It took me about 2 weeks to get used to it, but I love it!

I'm 5'6", but it looks like I am way in the minority on height here. Apparently AZ is frequented by giants. I shoot with an original Joss cue that is 57". I didn't choose the size, I just liked the cue and that's the way it came. It really is the perfect cue for me. It weighs a lot and I like that. Nineteen and a half ounces just never felt heavy enough for me.

I use a 94" cue. It helps me not to feel like I'm overpowering the cue with my overly large wingspan. All those years I was settling for cues in the 58-60" range, when it hit me. Why not get one that's almost 8 feet tall, like I am? I haven't looked back since. The best part, I haven't used a bridge for a shot in years!

Sincerely,

Paul Bunyan
