What is the most expensive J/B cue you willing to own?

$200-$300 is the most I'd spend for any brand B/J cue
I own a McD. Stinger B/J cue & I only paid $120 used.
It works as good as any other B/J cue I have ever tried.
It's not that I'm frugal as evidenced by the cue-makers I own.
I just don't see the value or benefit of spending a lot more for
a B/J cue when the one I own more than serves the purpose.

I'm going to save one of the limited Samsara ebony elephant ear wrapped break/ jumps for myself. 12 were made. I would spend a little more if I thought there was some benefit. I actually despise jump shots with anything but the playing cue. Martin
$500 for mine. I'll leave the maker anonymous because his prices went up. The break is the most important shot of the game in my opinion.....so spare no expense on the performance side of the cue.
I would go up to 1675$ and this would be only for break built by Wendy Curboisa
Would also pay up to 1000$ for the J/B from Vilim Konjic
I guess that depends on if I am buying the cue from PT Barnum or not.
I think the Gus on billiardcue.com would be the ultimate IMHO, or at least warrant a collectible number. But for an everyday cue, no more than 4-5 hundred and that is pushing it.

If you're talking strictly as a EDP cue, $ZERO$ as I've already got my ultimate j/b cue. It's basically a J&J palmwood points cue worth about $80-90.
If you're talking a collector type cue, to me nothing really makes any sense over about $1000 to $1200 unless it's incredibly fancy.

I do want to know. I was half asleep when I made this post and realize that might be a stupid question to ask because every one have a price of what they really would paid.

Well,here is my Purple-Heart Andy Gilbert break that is above 1000$.It was built to match to my Andy Gilbert playing cue.All white is ivory including ringwork!

BTW I hope we are talking run of the mill jump cues. Now if you get a fancy jump / break that is a match to your playing cue, or there is some special reason, its like any other cue, you may end up paying a lot for a cue you normally wouldn't.
So I don't think this should be an absolute answer. If I ordered a j/b with gold and diamonds, then yes, I would have a very special jump / break and more than a run of the mill j/b. If someone makes a commemorative j/b, I guess it could happen, on the surface it might seem a little ridiculous, but lets face it, guys pay 4k for a 4 point cue from a guy that can't do a leather wrap, so it wouldn't surprise me that someone could do a cue like this, and sell them.
