Joss

All the joss cues I've seen and played with have had the joss logo and serial/series # on the cue at joint or in the upper forearm.
To my knowledge joss uses a bumper that has joss logo on it.
Joss uses a pilioted joint...
Look up the joss website and send them a email. You will get a response.

I'm no joss expert so take my info with that in mind.

Looks like a flat-faced 3/8x10 pin. Looks like the entire cue, shaft and all are made from resin. It's a good looking cue. No idea who would have made it though. Good luck with Identification.

Not a Joss, not even close.

Inexpensive Asian import.

I hate to be harsh but it looks like junk to me.

You might want to get in touch with Ebay and tell them you been scammed.

I don't know the name but I bet whoever made it didn't speak English as his/her first language.

That's not a Thor's Hammer for sure. Every one I've seen say it in big letters on the side of the butt. Looks like a china cue, I'd contact Ebay.

JOSS's are CLEARLY marked. You got ripped-off. Return for refund. Next time do your homework before hitting "BUY".

You need to tell them you need a $75 dollar refund or a full refund.

This is so wrong!

No Doubt....this is not even remotely resembling a Joss Thors Hammer...I believe that the Thor is a purple heart cue

There are three versions. One of them is purpleheart.

There is in fact a black version. But it does not have a black shaft and looks nothing like this cue.

If you are going to return it, contact the seller first, they advertise "No Hassle Refunds".

I'd want to know why they think it's a Joss.
Not because I think it is, but I spoke to a fairly well known and respected cue; maker this summer, and
one of the subjects we came to briefly briefly was the Predator Revo. He told me that some
years ago Dan Janes had made an all carbon fiber cue, but didn't like it, or decided it was garbage,
or something like that. This particular cue the OP has posted looks more along
the lines of a CueTec imitation, and doesn't look like any Joss I've ever seen, but you never know, you know....

Celophanewrap:

Dan Janes has done a lot of experimentation and innovation, more than many give him credit for.

I don't believe he made that.

It looks like the seller just copied an Ebay ad for a Joss Thor Hammer. They are a "volume seller" so it may have been inadvertent and simply done in haste.
