What size pool table do you own?

9' Antique Brunswick "Homewood" with ball return, Tournament Blue 860, and 4.5" pockets.

My pool room is 15x21. I have absolutely zero problems with hitting the walls. Perhaps this is due to the T-rails of the Antique table.

Oh the jealousy. How I wish I had a real pool table. As of now, I have a dining table. You may laugh but it's the closest thing I can get. Here's the equation:

Dining table + Checker pieces = Pretend pool

Seriously, try it out.

I have an 8 footer. I also have one of those 3 inch by 6 inch table top pool tables.

9ft Brunswick Madison, vintage 1916, Just move and passed up 100 homes before I found a basement that had a 14 x18 area without any poles. Love the 9 footer. Next table is 9 ft. Diamond....

9 FT. Gandy Big "G"

Took a pole out to give me 17 X 24. The new beams and the welding to satisfy the inspectors, 1 Shurtz cue and 1 extra shaft. Value of the work, $10,000. Dam I am lucky.

What size pool table do you own...????

Table is a 9' antique Brunswick "Challenger" circa 1939 with ball return...the "pool room" in the basement was designed specifically for my pool table...16' steel I-Beam serves as the floor joist (for the 1st floor) so that the support posts in the basement would not be an issue...finished room dimensions are 15'2" X 23'...!!!

THE BIG 'G',
They play nice enough, but DAMN I hate those pockets.

With all your cash, it is time to move up bud.

9' Diamond Pro, tight pockets, IPT cloth, in our 3 car garage. All cars park outside. It takes up 2 bays and the 3rd is storage.

We could have used the living room/formal dining room since we rarely use them, but the living room is sunken (which cuts down on its length) and is surrounded by windows, so I could imagine a cueball flying out the window on someone's break!

Size vs Availability

9' GC IV top, 3-7/8th's pockets on an older frame wich I think is more solid.

It's probably an issue of selling what they have and not wanting to order one.
I tried to get a 9' GC and the local dealer (non-player) screwed me around so bad I'll never go in the place again. I also tried going thru Olehausen for an issue with an 8' I had a few years ago and they didn't want any thing to do do with it. They said if a dealer couldn't set up a table correctly it was not thier problem they only stood behind craftsmanship of manufacture. wouldn't evan call the dealer and look into it. so.....no Ole ever again. I ended up getting my GC IV thru a real nice hall in Des Moines, had some issues at first but because the owners are Players the issue's were resolved no problem.

Lesson: If the Dealer is Not a Player you are taking your chances on getting a table you will like. I was told by the Ole dealer that there was no making me happy . I replied with If the table is flat and level at the very least I would be happy and he could not provide that basic service so he could not make me happy. He also told me if I ever stepped in his store again I would be arrested. HA! Like I would! Called Better Business and got my table fixed pretty quick!

I personnally want a 9 Pro-am and plan on it next year!

I have had my Diamond Pro 9' since 1989 in a room 15X19. Haven't hit a wall making a shot yet.
That's tight but should be enough room. Barely. I would like to trade my 8 footer for a 7 footer. Just for the heck of it.
