What size pool table do you own?

I have had my Diamond Pro 9' since 1989 in a room 15X19. Haven't hit a wall making a shot yet.

You must break like Minnie Mouse. ;-)

My 9 ft Diamond Pro, I made sure the house I just built had plenty of room above the garage. Now I need a pub table and barstools.:)

Brunswick VIP Pro 8 covered with Simonis 760 with corner pockets of 4.25.

If I had it to do over, would probably get a 9, although I play on 9s in leagues and don't notice much difference.

Your building your own? Do you have pictures? Would love to see it especially the purple heart. Was thinking about using purple heart for a mantle piece - can get some I think from a hardwood place down the road aways (bought all my oak trim for the house from them).

Jack...Man, that would take one heck of a lot of purpleheart...even just to do the rail tops, let alone skirts, table body, etc. Maybe he's just thinking about purpleheart veneers? I've never even heard of that, but anything's possible!:D

Hey Jack I will post some pics when I get some time. See you at the expo. Chris.

I have a 1" X 2" pool table. It is part of a Christmas Ornament that has Santa playing some 8-ball:)

A dealer typically would not order "1" table but that same dealer could add a special order table to his regular order from the manufacturer. It's all about freight costs. Years ago when we sold Kasson tables an order of 30 tables qualified for free shipping so I'm sure similar incentives are offered by other manufacturers. If the customer is willing to wait there's no reason not to put a 9 footer on the truck along with the rest of the order.
Sure sending ONE table would never be an option..but when you have a truck load they can just put it on with the rest.it just seemed like the sales people he spoke with could have happily took his order while explaining to him the wait for the so called special order..:)

Hal i remember that picture of the room and table well.it was on Life styles of the Rich and Famous. Robin Leach said it was in the Sultan of Brunai's castle..nice place indeed....

I have a 9' Brunswick Gibson in a room that is waaaay too small for it. I bought it when I lived in another house (in California) and had a room big enough for it, then I moved to Virginia and had to put it in a smaller room. It's a pain, but I'm still glad I didn't get rid of it and get a smaller table. I plan to move again in a year or so and will make sure my new house has a big enough room. I can't stand playing on smaller tables.

Well there's your answer. Sounds like you can go for it.
