What type of cues or these, billiard or snooker

I am trying to sell these cues, but not sure what they are, were told snooker and also told billiard, what do you thank? They are only 28.5 in long and 10 mm at the tip. Tom

They are shafts.

The brass ferules would indicate an English style cue - so, in a way, they are both.
English Billiards is played on the same table as Snooker - using the same sized balls.

You would think so, because the tables are bigger. English snooker cues are usually about 57". Mine is 57 1/4" long with a 9mm tip & brass ferrule. Snooker balls are 2 1/8" diameter, as apposed to pool bals that are 2 1/4"...JER

There are not billiards cues.

Do you have a way of measuring the ferrule or place a ruler beside it for reference. To me they look larger than a normal snooker cue.

The majority of snooker shafts,have the pin in the shaft.
They look like snooker shafts made for a pool cue.
It could be that it was made in USA for snooker and breaks in half to match most US cases.
Small tip cues play very well on the larger US sized ball.
At 10.5 and 10.35 they are on the larger scale for snooker.
I use a 10 mm tip and like it very much.
