I just wanted to clarify which rail touches there were so someone didnt think I was talking about the touch after yellow contact. I never played the game but I was pretty sure the rails had to happen before contact with last ball.
 
The Zanetti shot looks to me like the cue hit something on the cloth that deflected it and there was no cushion contact. Zanetti has been playing long enough to know what a valid shot looks like.

It had to have hit something. It may have spun off chalk debris left by that very shot. Going back to check.
 
No! Coaching is not allowed. Besides I can't be sure what his or her plan is, so outside interference even if well intended is unsportsmanlike
