What is a fair spot for a B player against James Walden or another top player?
My brother Country Calvin used to give B players the 5,6,7,8,9 & the breaks on the bar box and win, the last time Calvin and James Walden played, James won playing even, so B players can get alot of weight and still loose playing a real player!
sorry but 5,6,7,8,9 and the break on a bar table?
anyone who can play a little bit and doesn't scratch on the break will beat any player in the world at this game.
a good breaker might win this game without ever shooting a shot after the break.
I guess it depends on the definition of a B player. Around here, a B player is subject to put a 3 or 4 pack on you with no spot.

I see you haven't been out much!

I see you haven't been out much!, I've seen good B players get weak as a Kitten playing a real player!

no i don't get out much, but if you want to bring James or Calvin or anyone else to Nashville, they have action.
sorry if i offended you,but i guess we have different definitions of a B player.
Ok guys, I didn't mean to start an argument
Ok guys, I didn't mean to start an argument. I see James in Chesters (OKC) pretty regularly. I've thought about asking him if he would play cheep but I do want to be competitive. I figure I'll have the worst of it no matter what the spot. James is a seasoned gambler and I'm not. I'm not looking to make a score just wanted to play a top player.
