Just got an interesting e-mail saying the On The Break News was planning to show the entire final match at the Sands tomorrow live on the net for free. They have been doing player interviews from up there all week.

If it happens it will be on otbntv.com

The website doesn't seem to be working Jay...

Archer won easily again. I think it was like 9-3 over Billy Palmer, a very good player. Oh, and Mark Tadd beat Mike Davis 9-6!

GO TADD!!![/QUOTE

Its great to hear Mark Tadd is playing good pool again. Hopefully he'll keep it up. I'd love to see the old Mark playing against some of the younger players.

shane vs archer

i agree mark is a bad dude when he is instroke!

Way to go Mark!!!

I am happy Mark is doing so well. I am really rooting for him. Maybe his performance in Reno will silence some of the knockers on this forum.

As a kid who idolized his game growing up It's great to see him playing again.

I can't find anything live going on there. Just some interviews.

You have your wish!!! :D Mark Tadd will be playing Chuckie Holyoke his next match. Chuckie is a 15 y/o kid from up here in Seattle. Is that young enough for you? ;) He's having a great tourney!!!

He's guaranteed 5th-6th. From what I've been told, Chuckie is the youngest player ever to get this far in the Reno Open! ...and he only started playing a few years ago

It sounds like Mark is a friend to a lot of you, so this post is said with all due respect! Good luck to both players! ...but you know I have to pull for our hometown kid!

That's not what I meant. I'd like to see him get back to his old stroke and matchup with guys like Tony Chohan and John Schmidt. Mark at his best was every bit as good as these guys at theirs.

Mark Tadd-Wow !

The resurgence of MT is very exciting!

Knowing how difficult it is for any superstar in any sport to come back to match his glory days-I'm getting a cheap vicarious thrill just watching him.

May the force be with MT..................!!!

I was just teasin' ;)

I have an incredible amount of respect for all of these players... young or old. There is a player up here in Seattle who used to play world class as well! Similar to what you're describing about Mark Tadd. His name is "Fast Eddie" Carrido, and when he was playing all the time there wasn't anybody that had to like his game :D

...but kid's, mortgage, sending kid's to college, etc. put a stop to that :( Real jobs suck! haha

Is Rafael still in the hunt ... ???

I've been gone all day and anxious to hear how my favorite player, Rafael Martinez is doing in Reno ... If he is still in, I will drive up tomorrow and watch him sweep the field ...

He's still on the A-Side. Guaranteed 5th-6th. He plays Mark Tadd in 45 minutes.

That's great news. thanks! Sorry Jay, I am going to be pulling against Mark. What an experience for a 15 year old.

I know what you mean, since my daughter was born 2 years ago I haven't hardly had a chance to even screw my cue together, and I have another one on the way. I think its going to be awhile before I really get to hitting them good again.
